2017 bottle, batch 227274. Armaf keeps getting me. DCHA opens with powerful tobacco and a very particular aged lemon, slightly sweet and cloying, perhaps due to the amber. I don’t detect the green notes; it’s a pure tobacco bomb at first. Projects well for 2-3 hours with a heavy trail that drops to moderate. From 3 to 6 hours, it smells like comforting wood with a bit of tobacco at arm’s length. From 7 to 9 hours, it’s just skin scent. Lasts all day or more on clothes. It’s strong and stands out, ideal for men over 35, bosses, with beards and furrowed brows. Better in the cold, because with icy wind it changes character and becomes marvelous. Smells like an antique shop with exotic furniture and an owner smoking a pipe, very vintage. I loved it, but I won’t use it much in spring; in winter, it will be my workhorse. Great price.
Smells about 80% like Amouage Epic Man. The opening is green with spices, tobacco, and maximum bergamota alongside a resinous, smoky cedar. It’s for going out at night when you’ve got everything under control and are ready to conquer your fling. A true alpha male scent, nothing for kids.

It’s an absolute beast of a fragrance. Projects heavily, lasts all night, and people can’t stop asking me what I’m wearing.
