Dancing in Snowfall: Aurora Scents' Icy Elegance

A feminine fragrance that captures the magic of winter in motion. Dancing in Snowfall (2024) is the latest creation from Aurora Scents, crafted by perfumer Sophie Labbé.

The opening is bright and fresh: juicy peach, sparkling pink pepper, and zesty bergamot create a first glimmer like snowflakes in the sun. At the heart, sambac jasmine intertwines with the sweetness of mimosa, caramel, and orange, forming a soft, enveloping texture. The base is deep and sensual: amber, musk, woods, and vanilla blend with balsamic notes and a touch of cedar, leaving a trail that evokes a snowy landscape at dusk. A balanced composition between freshness and warmth, perfect for those seeking a scent that dances between the ethereal and the comforting.

Designed for women who enjoy versatile fragrances, with character yet delicate, ideal for day or night in any season.

Dancing in Snowfall is a refined work that combines fruity and floral notes with a woody, musky base. Its evolution is elegant and long-lasting, though projection is moderate. A gem for collectors and lovers of artisanal perfumery.

  1. First, I loved its presentation in a gift box and its bottle 😍. I liked this perfume; it’s a scent different from what we’re used to smelling in winter. It’s not cloying and doesn’t bother anyone. I’m not an expert at describing perfumes, but what I sense is a fruity opening (peach and bergamot), then it becomes a bit spicy and floral, and then gives way to woody notes and vanilla. Very feminine and somewhat fresh; I feel it works very well in cold climates and for daytime use. It reminds me of Rare Flowers Night Orchid by Avon.
