Rémy Latour Cigar is an aromatic fruity fragrance for men. Launched in 1996, this composition unfolds with top notes of plum, pineapple, bergamot, pear, and Amalfi lemon. • Tobacco scent with a fresh citrus touch; wish it had better sillage and lasted longer on the skin; it would be perfect.

  • Hey Gomora, good afternoon. I just wanted to say that on my skin, the longevity is quite impressive. Maybe the blend of ingredients isn’t your cup of tea, but it varies from person to person; not every scent suits everyone. Personally, I absolutely love it.

  • Hey Gomora, good afternoon. Let me tell you that the longevity on my skin is indeed quite prolonged. Maybe the combination of components on your skin isn’t what you’d desire, but as you can see, that’s variable, and fragrances don’t suit everyone the same way. Personally, I really like it.

What a great perfume. I think I have a reformulated version, but it’s still exquisite. On my skin, what I perceive most is pear, tobacco, plum, and patchouli. I recommend it as a blind buy if you like fragrances with tobacco notes. Longevity is 6 hours, projection is 2 hours; better for night use and cold climates. You can find it online for between $15 and $20. I’d give it an 8.5/10 regarding quality and price.

A strange perfume… I’ve only recently started developing my taste in fragrances, and this Cigar by Remy Latour has already made it to my favorites. Let me try to explain my experience simply: on several occasions I had the chance to smell it, but something didn’t quite convince me, so I’d buy something else I preferred. This was due to the first impression of the notes, which I considered too strong and reminded me of my father or grandfather. But now that I’ve actually purchased it, I’m surprised. On my skin, the first things I noticed were lime, pineapple, laurel, patchouli, cedar, and tobacco leaves. In my opinion, it’s a very personality-driven perfume. Considering the price, which is very cheap, it doesn’t make you underestimate this good perfume. As the hours pass, the scent becomes easier to appreciate, lighter, and a bit sweeter. It transports me to a place of tranquility, a wooded area, and tobacco leaves. It gives you personality; I consider it for very masculine men with extravagant tastes. This perfume will add mystery to your personality. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

  • I put it on 30 minutes ago and I don’t smell tobacco, at least not like in London. The truth is, as the notes say, it’s fresh, spicy, and sweet. Unlike London, which is warm… it’s a rich aroma with a good balance between spices and fruits. I see this more as a casual daily winter scent, or for spring in mild weather.

  • Just tried it. Bought it because of its similar notes to London. At first, the lemon gives it a citrusy touch. Unlike London, where on my skin the tobacco and leather kick in to gradually sweeten and become woody… I’m hoping to smell the tobacco soon.

Who else tried this Mystery Tobacco by Carolina Herrera? (I bought it on a trip and it was weird). Well, Cigar by Remy Latour would be its eau fraîche version. I don’t know who copied whom, but they’re very close. You smell laurel, wood, pineapple, pear, and then that floating pipe tobacco that lingers and returns. It’s the perfume of a modern pirate on his sailboat. Exotic and intoxicating, good potency, not toxic, and addictive if you get into the habit of applying a little. If it were an EDP, it would be fabulous… but the price-to-quality ratio is the best I’ve found.

I bought this blind and was pleasantly surprised by the value. I love that tobacco note; it’s potent in the first few hours, and even though I couldn’t smell it on myself, others noticed it after 6 hours. I estimate it lasts up to 8 hours. For the price, it’s an excellent fragrance, but be aware: it’s strong and not for everyone’s taste.

I bought this blind and was pleasantly surprised by the price. I adore that tobacco note; it’s powerful for the first few hours, and while I can’t smell it anymore, others definitely can. I’d estimate it lasts up to 8 hours. For the price, it’s an excellent fragrance, just keep in mind it’s strong and not for everyone’s taste.

Wow, what an exquisite scent. A perfectly balanced tobacco that’s never overwhelming; it’s truly captivating. I used the sample from the sticker on the middle of the bottle, hoping the reformulation hasn’t hit yet. For the price, there’s no competition—highly recommended.

Ufff, what an exquisite fragrance. A perfectly balanced tobacco scent that’s never overpowering; it’s truly captivating. I used the sticker sample from the middle of the bottle and hope I haven’t run into the reformulation yet. For the price, there’s no competition—highly recommended.
