  • Maybe there are ingredients we don’t know about, but what they’ve told us has created something magical, turning it into one of the most precious perfumes in my collection. This is how CHURCH BELLS by @leaumaliz won my heart: an Eau de Parfum that captivates you the moment you see it, before you even try it, to later become your second skin for a long time. I can’t pinpoint specific notes; everything flows gradually, revealing accords with varying intensity. It’s a wonderful fusion of incense, palo santo, beeswax, and birch wood. A smoky scent that fills the space with magic and tranquility, something invisible yet palpable, so cozy you want time to stand still. It’s an elegant, seductive incense that melts with its smoke alongside the beeswax, blending its sweetness like lighting a honey candle, where all its comforting warmth amplifies the aroma. It feels so natural that when you close your eyes, you imagine how each ingredient mingles on your skin. The sensation is of different smoky nuances: as it evolves, the peculiar and intense scent of palo santo emerges to wrap around the perfume, very aromatic, full of woody facets, and always exquisite. Birch wood ensures it lasts a long time on the skin, with its warmth and strength, turning the honey into a velvet caress you don’t want to fade. Absolutely elegant, long-lasting, and seductive. Here, there isn’t just a perfume, but a feeling, many memories, and desires to come. An olfactory experience to share with the trail you leave behind.

  • Maybe there are more ingredients we don’t know about, but it’s possible that with the ones they mention, something magical happened, turning it into one of the most precious perfumes in my collection. This is how CHURCH BELLS by @leaumaliz fell in love with me. An eau de parfum you desire from the moment you see it until you know it, to then become your second skin for a long time. I don’t find defined parts here; everything is there and emerges gradually, and at each moment we’ll smell those notes with more or less intensity. A wonderful fusion between incense, palo santo, beeswax, and birch wood. A smoky scent that fills the space with magic and tranquility, something invisible but you can feel with such a cozy sensation that you want time to stop and not leave this now. An incense full of elegance and seduction that warmly melts with its smoke alongside the beeswax, blending its sweetness, like when you light a honey candle and all its relaxing heat increases the strength of the aroma. Everything is so natural that just closing your eyes, you can imagine how each ingredient mixes on you. The sensation it conveys is that you always feel different smoky nuances. As it develops, the peculiar and intense scent of palo santo appears to wrap the perfume with more warmth, being very aromatic, full of woody nuances, and always in an exquisite way. Birch wood will be the one that makes the scent last a very long time on the skin, with its warmth and strength, making the honey turn into a velvet caress that you don’t want to separate from you. Extremely elegant, long-lasting, and seductive. Here there isn’t just a perfume, there’s a sensation, countless memories, and desires to come. An olfactory experience to share with the trail we leave behind.

  • Church Bells doesn’t smell like a church or anything similar. What it is, is a comfort of beeswax, like furniture wax but better, with a subtle floral and tipsy opening. If there’s incense, it’s barely noticeable at first and doesn’t last long. Palo Santo is more of a secondary guest, or rather, the scent of wood burned days ago, without fire. It’s that dense, springtime, luminous beeswax that brings it to life. It could be called Beekeeper’s Walk and fit better. Nothing liturgical here: luminous peace and impressions of an Italian village in spring dedicated to honey and carpentry. It’s very similar to the wonderful, discontinued Gaultier Fleur du Male. That same floral, waxy, honeyed sensation of pure happiness. The longevity is moderate—not very long, but enjoyable. Sillage is moderate and pleasant if someone gets close to you, especially in the first hour.
