It’s a chocolate-covered rose (not sweet, but dark, like a chocolate bar) with a light touch of vanilla. I detect a bit of incense. I like it; it’s quite rich, though a bit pricey at 50 ml for almost $55, even though it’s from the catalog. I prefer the Passion to this. It has good fixation and sillage, lasting 8 hours.
My mom uses this because few fragrances last on her skin, whereas Ccori does, so she adores it and believes it’s worth it. The times I’ve tried it, the sillage impressed me: it projects well but doesn’t overwhelm to the point of being unbearable. Personally, I think it’s spectacular and its notes make it special, but for my mom, the longevity and incomparable sillage are the key factors.
My mom uses it because few fragrances last on her skin, and Ccori is one of them; she believes it’s worth every penny. I’ve smelled it several times and was struck by its trail: it stands out without being overwhelming or unbearable. To me, it’s spectacular and special due to its notes, but for her, the incomparable longevity and trail are the best parts.
Yanbal’s Ccori Le Parfum isn’t a gourmand despite having ‘edible’ notes. It has strong cocoa, vanilla, and rose openings, then becomes sweet. The sillage is big and lasts about 8 hours. The blend makes it more floral than gourmand. It’s controversial, much like the classic Avon Far Away: some love it, others hate it. To me, it’s serious, elegant, and formal, suitable for people 35 and older and cold climates. Yanbal has perfumes in the niche and designer range; sometimes they are excellent in longevity and sillage but with distinct aromas, like Quizás or Celos, which touch on niche.

It’s rare that Ccori Rose isn’t on the list. I bought it looking for a soft floral with rose, and I got it with a tester. At first, it’s very strong, and the plum note stands out too much; later, it evolves into something very sweet where plum and vanilla dominate, with little rose. Recommended for winter, it has a great trail and good longevity.
It’s strange that Ccori Rose isn’t on the list. I was looking for a floral scent with soft roses and found it in a tester. At first, it’s very strong, with the plum note standing out too much; then it evolves into something very sweet where plum and vanilla dominate, and the rose is barely there. Recommended for winter; the sillage and fixation are good.
I don’t understand what chocolate note this perfume has. I hate it; it gives me a headache. It doesn’t get compliments; people don’t like it. It’s not because it’s too strong, as there are equally potent perfumes that are less unpleasant. It smells aldehydic to me, with no chocolate whatsoever.
I agree with Karina98: I ended up with two vials, not one, thinking the first was defective. I can’t believe I got both in such bad luck. I have no idea where the chocolate or vanilla comes from; it’s a vintage scent but honestly terrible—I don’t like it. More than one person told me it smelled great, but nope, I have a major aversion. The longevity and trail are tremendous, which is typical for a good Ccori, though.
I agree with Karina98; I bought two vials, not one, thinking the first was defective, but I don’t think I’m that unlucky to have both be like this. I can’t find the chocolate or vanilla; it smells vintage but honestly, it’s terrible, and I don’t like it. More than one person told me it smelled good, but no, I have a total rejection to it. That said, the longevity and sillage are like a good Ccori, which is tremendous.
It’s a strong, winter perfume with incredibly long-lasting power, far exceeding designer brands, plus a potent trail. I remember my mom’s bottle broke and spilled onto some papers I kept between my books to scent them; I opened them years later, and the aroma was still lingering.
It’s strong, perfect for winter, and lasts forever—longer than designer scents. The sillage is brutal. I remember my mom’s bottle broke and spilled onto some papers I kept between books to perfume them. I opened those books years later, and the scent was still there.
My mom’s signature scent since the late 90s. The quality, aroma, and performance are top-notch. Its name means ‘gold’ in Quechua and it fits perfectly: it’s warm, luminous, and intense. Beyond the official notes, it smells like honey, making it a precious Andean version. If I had to choose the perfume that best represents Yanbal, it would be this one. At 20 years old, it’s still intact and seems even stronger. A total success.
Wow, this smells incredible. The roses and cocoa really stand out. It’s powerful and projects amazingly well; a single spray fills the whole house, and the sillage is absolutely massive.
