Descripción

Can't Stop Loving You by Kilian is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2023, this olfactory composition was created by Alberto Morillas. The top notes unfold with orange blossom and paradisone; the heart reveals honey, labdanum, and styrax; while the base settles on oakmoss, Madagascar vanilla, and frankincense.

  • I bought this blind based on the notes and olfactory family; I expected something more gourmand, well, I expected more from everything. It smells like a very realistic neroli or orange blossom, along with Paradisone which gives it freshness and a citrus touch, enhancing its green side. The honey adds sweetness in just the right measure, but after a short while, the fussy and earthy aspect of the base notes becomes noticeable; I don’t perceive any vanilla. Longevity is very scarce; in less than 1 hour it’s skin scent, lasting between 3-5 hours at best. The scent is pretty, if you like white florals you’ll like it. But the longevity is very scarce and the price is too high for the performance. I’m not regretting owning it, but if I had tested it first, I probably wouldn’t have spent 235 euros for 50ml.

  • Smells gorgeous, with a neroli blossom opening that is the star. The honey makes it very attractive, caramelized, and pleasant for lovers of sweet white florals like Love Don’t Be Shy. I appreciate a subtle touch of sambac jasmine; maybe that’s the Paradisone note adding that reflection. To be honest, the sillage is very weak and the longevity isn’t as long as I expected. After an hour and several minutes, it was clinging tightly to my skin without projecting anything. Its average longevity really let me down. A perfume at this price point can’t afford these flaws. In my case, I returned it and shipped it back without hesitation. You can find something similar in Elie Saab’s LE PARFUM line, even at a better price with superior quality. Disappointing.

  • When I applied it, it seemed like a mix of L’Interdit and Baccarat Rouge, with very dominant jasmine or neroli notes. But it’s true that after a few minutes, the orange blossom-honey note comes out more, similar to Elie Saab’s Parfum In White.

  • What a great fragrance, Killian brings us another masterpiece. The opening smells like neroli blossom (the one I loved so much in My Way) and it gradually becomes sweet, almost with a liquor-like touch (maybe because it’s from Killian, like Angel’s Share), though I think it’s the honey doing it. On my skin, the longevity is normal, but I’d recommend it more for night or cold days (I insist, it doesn’t give me that liquor note). Still, for the price, I could just as well recommend My Way.

After falling in love with INTOXICATED, BLACK PHANTOM, LOVE DON’T BE SHY, VODKA ON THE ROCKS, and my beloved ANGEL’S SHARE, I blindly trusted Kilian as the king of perfumes. But this time, even though it smells rich, it falls short: it lacks that personal touch that makes the others unique and prevents you from confusing them. The orange blossom comes out perfect, followed by honey; on my skin, when the base notes arrive, the trail is already very faint and lasts only about 3-4 hours. This time, Kilian wasn’t what I expected.
