Just bought it. The grapefruit is the first thing you smell upon application and is the note that rules the entire life of the perfume. When it reaches the mid-stage, you notice a bit of floral from the jasmine, and as it dries down, it becomes woody but without losing that little citrus scent. Ideal for summer, it’s a very fresh aroma with which I’ve received plenty of compliments :). It suits all ages but especially younger people; I’d say around 20 years old. As its emblem states: ‘For the intrepid, extroverted, and vigorous young man. Outstanding Italian sensuality!’
New purchase and it caught me off guard. The first thing you notice is the grapefruit, which dominates the entire evolution. Midway through, a floral touch from the jasmine enters, and as it dries down, it becomes woody without losing that citrus freshness. Perfect for summer, super fresh, and I’ve already received many compliments :). It works well for all ages, but I’d say it’s for younger people, around 20. As its logo says: ‘For the intrepid, extroverted, and vigorous young man. Outstanding Italian sensuality!’
Nice fragrances; it was a blind buy based on the name. I thought it would be something very aquatic and fresh, like Nautica, full of citrus and marine notes, but I was wrong. Yes, it’s fresh, yes, but with a very good woody base. Only at the beginning do you notice a bit of grapefruit, then the fruity notes arrive alongside the woods, making it something more casual than sporty or aquatic, and at a great price: $15 for 100ml.

Indeed, it smells like Bleu de Chanel, probably because of that, since Blu Stremo shares several notes except for the aquatic, fruity, and guaiac ones. I had tried Bleu several times but never decided to buy it because the dry-down just didn’t click for me; however, upon trying Blu Stremo, despite the similarity, I found it much more pleasant. Thanks to Carlo Corinto for this Bleu clone.
WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN AND DIDN’T BE: When Carlo Corinto left L’Inizio Sport and recycled the bottle for Blu Stremo, my curiosity got the better of me. Remembering the house’s hits in 2007 (Silver, Rouge, 315, L’Inizio Sport), I bought it blind. The result was a bitter-sweet experience: bitter because it bore no resemblance to L’Inizio Sport and wasn’t as aquatic, fresh, or soft as I expected; on the contrary, it had an intensity that didn’t quite work for me. The sweet part is that it smells good, has aquatic notes but they don’t last, it becomes intense quickly, and features a clear woody base. I disagree with the claim that it resembles Bleu de Chanel; this fragrance is older, and if anything, Bleu would resemble it, but they don’t share a real likeness since Bleu has a sweeter, more complex, and intense citrus opening. In reality, it had a nice scent, but the bitterness lies in the fact that it didn’t develop its own character like other Carlo Corinto fragrances; it feels like a little Frankenstein, lacking personality and mass-produced. I’m not saying it was bad, just that it lacked the pedigree I noticed in others. It was youthful and sporty, perfect for daytime and heat. Dry-down fixative: 8. No surprises in longevity, though the note combination explains part of it. Recommended sprays: 6 to 8. Sillage: Medium. Intensity: Medium.
