Beach Party by Armaf

This is literally the ‘Ralph’ for men, hahaha. I loved it.

I was looking for something fruity, sweet, yet fresh for the Chilean heat, and nothing convinced me until I smelled this: instant love at first sniff. It’s tropical, sweet, fresh, and sparkling. When it dries down, it smells a lot like the classic Ralph Calipso; I liked that one, but the drydown didn’t quite work for me. Party Beach resembles Ralph but without that note, and it won me over. It’s exquisite, exactly what I was looking for. I bought it as a Christmas self-gift. I perceive it as more feminine than unisex, but that’s just a matter of taste. I’ll comment on longevity later. Edit: I’ve been wearing it for two days. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours, but the last two are very intimate. I have to reapply around mid-morning. The atomizer is terrible and forces me to spray it muuuuch more often because it dispenses very little.

To me, these don’t resemble Summer Hammer at all; it’s very weak. I also own Tropical Vibe by Hayhaan, and this one does resemble it, and it’s much better.

To me, it’s a clear inspiration for Escada Rockin Rio, a very popular feminine from the late 2000s. While writing this, I have a bottle next to me, and I’d say the resemblance is around 85-90%. It’s just a bit more aquatic, giving it a more unisex touch, but in essence, it smells like tropical fruit juice (a bit synthetic) with a woody and musky base. Longevity is modest: it projects moderately to softly for the first hour, then sits close to the skin for about five hours. Totally expected for fresh and light fragrances. In short, it’s 100% summery, ideal for wearing under the sun or on very hot days.

Very synthetic, unisex, but in my opinion, it has a lot of hype. When it dries down, you can smell the guava if you read carefully, but it starts with a synthetic peach. I have nothing against synthetic scents, but this one smells like a kids’ perfume or a supermarket fragrance… of course, that’s my perception. Maybe girls or people under 35 would like it.

Hey, this smells super fresh—perfect for hot weather and effortless outings. The longevity is the weak point; it lasts about 4 hours with moderate projection, noticeable but not overwhelming. It’s unisex, suitable for anyone. According to most, 80% of women find it pleasant and fresh. It won’t knock your socks off, but it leaves a great impression. At $25, the price is fair. By the way, it smells very similar to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi, and Creed Virgin Island Water.

Ideal for spring, especially summer, dates, and casual outings—it’s super versatile.
