  I don’t know the D&G Devotion, but this is a rich gourmand with a white floral. The opening is barely citrusy, smelling of elegant lemon peel and sometimes candied orange. Then the sweet, vanilla-like side comes out; I barely smell the rum. I’m not sure if it’s unisex, but male gourmands tend to be bitter and I don’t mind the sweetness. It lasts quite a bit, I just received it today. It’s pleasant, very youthful, and I wear it as a man. You might like it if you’re looking for something feminine and gourmand.

  I compare it to: ‘A sweet, fresh, and juicy fruit dessert’. Ideal for: nights, cold weather, and work. In-store, my mom and I tested it and were fascinated; she said she struggles to find scents she likes and this was a hit. It smells incredible and justifies the ~$20. Reminded me of a peach; a good, gentle blend without strong synthetic notes typical of the Arabia line. I wear it in all seasons and it works great for ‘layering’ with fresh perfumes in the heat.

  A blind buy that was spot on. The candied lemon is present all the time, refined and sensual. You can tell the orange blossom and rum are very subdued. It’s a great alternative to D&G, I recommend it 100%.

  Finally tried it in-store, and despite being a fan of D&G Devotion, I was disappointed: it smells very synthetic and unisex. The lemon dominates and isn’t as sweet as I expected; it sounds like a classic lemon cologne. It reminds me more of Voux Zeste de Paris Corner than Devotion due to that unisex character.
