I tried it today at 22 degrees. It’s a marvel. Fresh and green opening, with a pleasant rose base that isn’t intrusive. Totally unisex.
A pretty, simple rose with mint and cucumber, super fresh, feminine, and perfect for summer. A great trick for any occasion—a clean, elegant signature perfume. Another hit from Guerlain.
It’s a rosebud with dew, right as it’s about to bloom on the bush. I love it, but I think the cucumber drains the energy and dilutes that gorgeous scent. The mint adds a touch of elegant insolence, yet the cucumber, I insist, instead of adding freshness, dissipates the flower’s soul and turns it into a watery juice. Once dry, that tender rose gains presence, but it clings very close to the skin. Aqua Allegoria Rosa Verde is beautiful and subtle, but perhaps too anemic, almost a joke.
I barely smell the cucumber here, which is a note I love and would prefer more. What I do notice is a white rose—super realistic and very fresh. I’m sure the mint contributes to that freshness, but it’s not sharp; everything is very delicate. If you like rose and fresh perfumes, this is a hit. Perfect for summer days.

It features a distinct rose that evokes memories of 90s colognes with a hint of cucumber, blended with mint and a very powdery base of iris and white musk. The trail is massive; a single drop on my wrist lasts all day with strong projection, which is a welcome surprise for an Aqua Allegoria. Guerlain continues to do what they do best: create excellent perfumes.
