I know many will hate this, but it’s my honest opinion. Jeane Arthes never disappoints, but with this—or rather, that heavy scent—it wasn’t what I expected. The bottle is gorgeous, but it’s strange that in the atomizer it smells delicious, flirtatious, and feminine, similar to a Cyzone scent I loved, but upon application… it’s a nightmare. I know I have a weird pH, but it smells like children’s cough syrup with strawberry juice. If you don’t want to spend money, it’s the dupe for Donna Karan Be Tempted, the red apple; both are equally generic and medicinal. Could it be that the perfumes I hate the most are the ones that last longest on my skin? I applied it yesterday, couldn’t stand it, rushed to wash my wrist, did it again, and finally it faded, or so it seemed. Today I washed again, and the smell was still hiding underneath; I never detected the base notes. I don’t know if what I received was expired or if it’s my pH, but for me, it’s a 0/10. I think I’ll finish the bottle and use it as a bathroom freshener (if anyone wants it, I’ll send decants for free since I keep the bottle; write to my email in my bio, thanks). That’s all, bye.

I know many will hate me for what I’m about to say, but it’s my opinion. Jean Arthes never disappoints, but with this perfume, it wasn’t what was expected. The bottle is beautiful, but it’s strange that when you smell the atomizer, it smells rich, flirtatious, and feminine, similar to a previous perfume I loved, but when applied, it’s a horror. I know I have a bad pH, but it’s like cough syrup mixed with strawberry juice. If you don’t want to spend much, it’s the dupe for Donna Karan Be Tempted (red apple); both are equally generic and medicinal. I applied it yesterday, I couldn’t stand the smell, ran to wash my wrist, and as soon as it came out, the same thing happened. Today I washed it, and the scent was still hiding; I never felt the base notes. Maybe what I was given was expired or it’s my pH, but for me, it’s a 0/10. I’ll finish the bottle and throw it away as a bathroom air freshener (if anyone wants it, I’ll send decants for free, write to me in my bio).

It’s a delicious fragrance. I bought it the first time because the salesperson sprayed it to show another person, and I bought it without hesitation. Its opening is rich; you can feel the red berries and the chili, which is almost minimal, very subtle. You can definitely feel the raspberry, and its dry down is delicious and sweet without being cloying. The sillage is very good and the fixative is excellent, lasting six to seven hours; I recommend it a lot, your partner will love it. Update: I’ve had this fragrance for a year and a half now, and the patchouli gets very strong, making it hard to tolerate in the dry down, although the opening is still rich. Definitely only for winter and special occasions.

  • I bought it blind and kept it for a while until I got tired of it. Not only that, but it also gave me nausea when I smelled it; I associated it with stale caramel, although the most ironic thing is that it doesn’t even have that note. Because of this perfume, I thought I hated the caramel note in fragrances, haha, crazy. I would never have it again.

I associated it with stale caramel or something similar; the funniest thing is that it doesn’t even have that note. Because of this perfume, I thought I hated the caramel note in fragrances, haha, what a crazy idea. I would never own it again, I’m sure of it.

It smells like very soft, slightly spicy peach, reminiscent of Signorina by Salvatore Ferragamo, like a lipstick or bile scent. The trail is very poor close to the skin and doesn’t last more than two hours. The price is cheap, but it’s not worth it; a waste of money.

It smells like very soft, slightly spicy peach. It resembles Salvatore Ferragamo’s Signorina, with a lipstick or lip balm scent. The sillage is very poor, skin-deep, and it doesn’t last even two hours. The price is cheap but not worth it; it’s a waste of money.

  • It’s a cheap perfume that doesn’t smell cheap. At first, you get the mentioned notes, with the chili one standing out, which strangely I like. Then comes a shy rose overwhelmed by raspberry, combined with a loud patchouli and an expressive touch of vanilla. It doesn’t feel synthetic; Jean Arthes has very affordable perfumery jewels. I guarantee it’s 90% identical to Cartier’s Baiser Fou, a budget alternative. The sillage is wide for the first three hours, and the longevity is moderate, about six hours, then it gets weak. I recommend it if you like raspberry with patchouli.

  • I was curious about this oddly shaped bottle, and since it was cheap, I bought it along with the blue Garden Delight (which I discovered is a dupe for BCR 540). What a surprise: only the bottle is cheap, not the contents. At first, it lasted about four hours, and the sillage stayed skin-deep after two, but it mellowed out and wow. It has an 85% resemblance to Baiser Fou, with notes of ripe raspberry, young rose petals, and sweet vanilla balanced by that strange chili note that blends perfectly. A delightful, elegant, and subtle fragrance, ideal for cool nights.

  • I love it. It smells vanilla but you can definitely detect the raspberry and a spicy kick. It reminds me of Lancome’s Miracle and Zara White; if you like those, you’ll love this. It’s worth trying because maybe it lasts longer on your skin. I reapply it a lot; it lasts me about two hours, but I forgive the short longevity because even the expensive Miracle and Zara don’t last anything. For the price, I reapply constantly and wear it on my clothes.

  • I was looking for this because it was a possible dupe for the discontinued L’Extase by Nina Ricci, my favorite since it suits me so well. Amore Mio didn’t disappoint; at first glance, the notes are similar, and in the atomizer, it smells almost identical. On my skin, it didn’t last long—by hour 4, it was barely noticeable—but the resemblance to L’Extase was surprising. I found it much fresher and lighter, which I liked because the Nina version sometimes overwhelmed me. For the price, I highly recommend it.
