It starts just like its sister, Smoky Fig, with that semi-fresh, green, and slightly sweet note that smells like generic supermarket body gel; it’s not cheap, just pleasant and generic. It lasts about three hours with a moderate-to-low sillage. Then it shifts radically, much like Marc Jacobs’ BANG: a 180-degree turn into an entirely different fragrance, which is rare these days. This second phase lasts another six hours but sits closer to the skin. Given its scent and evolution, it works well in both cold and heat for casual wear and those over 25. I’d stick with Smoky Fig because it doesn’t make this shift and stays consistent, plus it smells a bit fresher, but this is still a good fragrance.
