  I saw there were no comments, so I decided to leave the first one right after receiving this gem. I was very skeptical about buying it based solely on an Arabic reviewer’s recommendation; I knew it wasn’t for me, but if you’re looking for a unique collection, you need these kinds of rarities. It’s a scent I’ve never experienced before, so I’m happy with the choice. The packaging is another level, a visual jewel. The fragrance is intense, nothing blind: saffron right on the skin and animalistic oud; the opening smells like a ‘stable’ (to put it nicely). As it dries, that smell vanishes and gives way to leather mixed with saffron, making it more ‘pleasant,’ though it remains unique, found nowhere in my collection or elsewhere. 100% Arabic. To put it lightly, it reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Exclusif Tabac: for those with strong personalities, a powerful trail that screams ‘I’m here.’ It’s an extrait; the concentration on the skin is noticeable. Ideal for dressing up, cold climates, and outdoors; anti-summer. It’s definitely not unisex; I can’t see any woman wearing it. I think its performance is already evident. I’m thrilled; it’s amazing. French Avenue is crushing it; I feel like buying anything they make blind.

I was very hesitant to buy it because only an Arabic expert recommended it, and I knew it wasn’t for me, but if you want a unique collection, you need some rarities. It’s a scent I’ve never tried before, so I’m glad I bought it. The packaging is next level, a true marvel. The fragrance is intense; this isn’t a blind buy. It features a very prominent saffron and an animalistic oud; the opening smells like a ‘stable’ (to put it nicely). As it dries down, that smell disappears and is replaced by leather mixed with saffron, making it more bearable, though it remains unique and unlike anything in my collection. It’s 100% Arabic. To put it lightly, it reminds me of Maison Alhambra’s Exclusif Tabac: it’s for people with strong personalities, with a powerful trail that says ‘I’m here.’ It’s an extrait de parfum; you can tell the concentration on the skin.   This is the first Arabic perfume that has truly disappointed me. While I enjoy all kinds of scents, the notes on this are an absolute disaster; it literally smells like cow dung. The aroma is so unpleasant that it’s simply not wearable.

  Amber Saffron by French Avenue is today’s debut after keeping it saved, and the experience has been top-notch. From the start, it smells of quality, with an elegant, well-groomed vibe that adds sophistication without overdoing it. The opening is intense, a bit strong, and very present in the first few minutes; it’s not a shy opening, it has power and character, but the cool thing is that it softens up quickly. That initial potency gives way to a rounder, warmer, and pleasant aroma that clings to the skin and becomes super wearable. Once settled, Amber Saffron shows its most balanced and elegant side. The amber base adds warmth and depth, while the saffron contributes a sophisticated, slightly spicy touch that elevates the whole composition. The result is a comfortable, enveloping, and easy-to-wear fragrance, even for the office. In summary, my first experience was very satisfying. It’s a fragrance with a powerful but well-controlled opening that evolves into something elegant, soft, and highly enjoyable, perfect for daily life. It smells excellent, works perfectly at the office, and without a doubt, invites frequent use.
