  1. Disappointed a bit because on my skin it smells just like Eclaire. It’s rich, but I expected the tropical fruits to stand out more; I wasn’t looking for something so similar to what I already own. I’ll give it time to see if it evolves. It has a nice initial trail, but lasts about 3 hours; after that, it’s skin scent only. For the price, however, it’s absolutely worth it.

  2. I don’t smell the described notes, but it’s a delight: cotton candy, whipped cream, and white chocolate. It’s a hidden gem. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long and has a weak trail, but I use it on my sheets, pajamas, and in the morning. Since it’s affordable, I apply it generously.

It’s very similar to Eclaire when dry: lactonic and vanilla-based, but with a more sober sweetness, no caramelized touch. At first, you notice the clove, but it disappears after half an hour. It lasts about 3 hours with a small trail, right up against the skin; it’s like smelling Eclaire 4-5 hours later. Maybe this helps wear it in summer, but the longevity is disappointing and really affects the price-to-quality ratio. It doesn’t stand out for parties or night outs, but it’s perfect for daytime settings. I like this scent and will use it daily without fear of reapplying, since it’s much cheaper and reapplication is necessary. Update: as it oxidizes, the clove becomes more noticeable. Longevity and trail remain abysmal; I use it as an ambient fragrance.

  4. I just received it and, no matter how hard I look, I can’t find the listed notes. It smells exactly like Lattafa’s Eclaire, but much softer. I don’t smell that Yara Rosa blend people mention. Being softer than Eclaire, it will be great for summer if you like this type of scent.

  5. Attractive and simple packaging (which is nice because you can toss it guilt-free), heavy and sophisticated yet simple bottle in a gorgeous dusty pink and gold, with a heavy cap that closes perfectly. It’s citrusy, fruity, spicy, floral with a touch of oud; several olfactory families as it evolves. Opens with citrus, grapefruit, pomelo, ripe pineapple, and very acidic lime, accompanied by cloves and perhaps a hint of cardamom. In the heart, tropical fruits, rosemary, and saffron make it incredibly warm and deep, with a slight alcoholic note. Finally, the base notes of oud wood and very creamy sweet vanilla are noticeable for many hours. After a few weeks, it develops a lactonic and caramelized nuance, like it belongs to the famous BL (by GdT) family. It has brutal longevity: over 10 hours projecting at a distance and about 24 on skin. It’s feminine but quite unisex; on some skin it’s a hit and very original. For medium and cold seasons, ageless, though it conveys youthfulness; I find it more suitable for an adult. A true gem.
