I’m defending this marine scent: it’s a gem from a house that respects its history. Accordo Marino breaks the mold effortlessly and is perfect if you like marine fragrances but want a twist. What’s the twist? Eucalyptus. That balsamic note, as Farmacia SS says, combines with the sea’s freshness to give you the calm of a hammock with a cocktail. I have a soft spot for eucalyptus due to childhood memories: my friend and I would break leaves on a nearby hill to smell their heart; I was fascinated by it, of course, and we’d always go back up to repeat the experience. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours well. On clothes? So much that in summer you’d take the clothes off due to the heat. Verdict: if you already have the classic marine scents, this is a fresh complement that doesn’t repeat itself.
