The only note that hits me hard is the white wine, with a floral background. I don’t detect the vanilla when it dries. Uptown is for daily wear, almost unisex, pleasant but I don’t love it. Maybe it’s because of that dry, wine-like character, very different from the sweet gourmand and fruity fragrances flooding the market that are more my taste. I bought it out of curiosity about the white wine, but it’s not one of my favorites. It’s an easy-to-wear perfume, informal, not particularly elegant but suitable for the office or daily life, with a powerful trail (be careful with sprays if you don’t want to give someone a headache) and good longevity. Scent 5/10 Longevity 8/10 Trail 9/10 Value 8/10 Versatility 7/10 Packaging 6/10 Would I buy again? No.

Puff, a floral bomb with a sweet white wine note. Although it’s simple and unique, it eventually gets boring because it’s heavy and linear. It’s elegant but for any age; that elegance comes from the white wine, a soft, sweet, and delicate aroma. It’s not casual or for show, but for dinners, dates, events, or the office. Scent 7.5, trail 9, longevity 7.
I got to know it through a swap; I wouldn’t have bought it myself. It’s nice but not my style. The girl I swapped with said it smells like white wine and that men love it, especially for hitting on people. What hooked me was that wine note: when sprayed, it smells like an empty glass with fruity and fresh notes, zero alcohol. Over time it becomes velvety and floral, but the best part is the dry down: a very subtle earthy sweetness with clear fruits like green grape or starfruit. Longevity is medium. It smells good for the price, doesn’t seem synthetic, and Elizabeth Arden usually has good deals. Since it’s not my style, I never used it. Today it’s going with the Purplelight. PS: I see it as elegant, not for daily wear or formal parties, but for casual dinners or going out to dance. Maybe even in the office.
I got to know it through a swap; I wouldn’t have bought it myself. It’s pleasant but not my style. The girl who lent it to me said it smells like white wine and that men love it, especially for hitting on people. What hooked me was that wine note: when applied, it smells like a glass where you just finished a good white, the alcohol is gone, leaving fruity and fresh notes. It doesn’t smell like alcohol at all. Over time it becomes velvety and floral, but what I like most are the dry down: a very subtle earthy sweetness with clear, juicy fruits, like green grape or starfruit. Longevity is medium. It’s not a cheap perfume nor very complex, smells great for the price (doesn’t feel synthetic), and Elizabeth Arden usually has good deals. Since it’s not my style, I never used it from the swap, and today it’s going with the Purplelight. PS: I see it as elegant, not for daily wear or very formal parties, but for casual dinners, going out to dance, or hanging out with friends. Maybe even in the office.
I bought it blindly thanks to an amazing deal at my usual perfumerie, guided by the reviews. I liked the combination of notes. On my skin it’s similar to Taurien: the white wine is strong at the start but soon blends with the flowers in a linear cocktail, pleasant but not surprising. It’s super versatile, good for all day or casual outings. I don’t see it as elegant; it’s not my perfume for projecting class. My big problem is that on my skin it lasts very little. Even if I over-spray, after half an hour it barely smells, maybe a bit on clothes. I asked my circle and they confirmed that after an hour and a half it was very soft, not just my perception. Given the price, reapplying isn’t annoying, but its performance disappoints me. It’s a pleasant and distinct perfume, daytime and versatile, but with very poor projection and longevity. I like it but it doesn’t dazzle me, and I wouldn’t buy it again.
I grabbed this blindly thanks to an incredible deal at my usual perfumerie, trusting the notes and other reviews. It smells similar to Taurien: the white wine marks the beginning, but soon it blends with the flowers in a linear, pleasant cocktail that doesn’t really surprise. It’s super versatile, ideal for all day or casual outings, though I don’t see it as elegant or suitable for projecting a classy image. My biggest gripe is that on my skin it lasts a breath; even if I over-spray, after half an hour it barely smells, maybe just on clothes. Even my friends, who get close, say it’s very soft. Given the price, reapplying isn’t annoying, but the longevity is disappointing. It’s a nice, distinct perfume, daytime and practical, but with very poor projection and longevity. I like it, but it doesn’t dazzle me, and I wouldn’t buy it again even if there’s a good deal.
