What a bombshell of a fragrance! If you have a sensitive nose, stay away because this is a spice bomb, a full-on oriental. It reminded me of the start of my career in pharmacies, surrounded by old woods and essences filling the air… such beautiful olfactory memories. It’s a gorgeous woody scent, like wearing a bouquet of smoked roses and jasmine with incense, with that sweetness I love—just enough to please without being overwhelming. I’d classify it as woody-floral-oriental; you have to apply it carefully. It’s incredibly potent, very 80s and 90s style, yet extremely sensual and romantic. Out of all the Tauer fragrances I’ve tried, this is the best one for me.

Honestly, this perfume is amazing. They gifted me 5 ml, and the truth is, it’s impressive. I love the strong spicy opening along with that balsamic, resinous base; it’s very similar to Histoires de Parfums L’Animale’s Tubéreuse 3. It’s an opulent scent, perfect for cold climates or winter nights, with great sillage and longevity. For me, men can wear it as long as they don’t overdo it. In short, it’s an excellent perfume with vintage touches but very wearable today.
