Amouage was founded in Oman in 1983 by the Albusaidi family as a high-perfumery house. Its fragrances are made in Muscat and combine references from Arabian tradition with methods from Western perfumery. Frankincense has a central place because of its connection with Oman’s history and local harvesting.
Interlude Man belongs to the frankincense selection and represents one of the brand’s most intense lines. Guidance comes from a more recent part of the catalog. Alongside other established families, Amouage maintains a broad collection made under the house’s direction in Muscat.
