  Treasure Island by Legendary Fragrances markets itself as a journey to the pirate age, rum, and easy treasures… (Mmmm?). The brochure comes with a generous vial of amber liquid promising a ‘Caribbean pineapple’ (Aventus-style?), but that note gets crushed by a wave of saturated scents, leaving it flat with no evolution or clear phases. It’s just amber; maybe some sweet edges with light citrus and wood hints, but nothing purposeful or cohesive. To be frank, the fragrance needs more thought from its creators since it’s overwhelmingly flat, lacks sophistication, and feels mid-tier. The brochure paper quality is good, but the graphic design, typography, and photography are terrible, with info styled like this ‘niche’ trend where everyone thinks they’re experts making perfumes; without a doubt, the real ‘pirates’ are the creators of this indifferent piece chasing wannabe ‘niche’ wallets. It’s not a common perfume and shows that emerging niches have a lot of work to do, at least for this Legendary Fragrances whose name sounds like ‘Fake’.
