About Arkano della Morte
Arkano della Morte: V Canto's Dark Ritual in Suede and Amber
Launched in 2026, V Canto's Arkano della Morte is a woody oriental for men and women composed by Paolo Terenzi.
It opens on deliberate tension: soft, animal-leaning suede against crisp pepper and pink pepper, with incense setting a solemn, ceremonial tone right away.
The top notes bring together suede, pepper, pink pepper, and incense. Suede gives a velvety, skin-like texture, while the two peppers add dry, sparkling heat. Incense contributes cool smoke and a mineral edge.
The heart turns spicy and resinous with cardamom, cypriol, coumarin, and Spanish labdanum. Cardamom keeps an aromatic lift, cypriol adds an earthy, rooty wood character, and labdanum wraps everything in warm balsam. Coumarin softens the blend with a light hay-like sweetness.
The base unfolds gray amber, clary sage, costus, musk, and styrax. Gray amber brings salty depth, costus an earthy, bodily warmth, and musk a smooth, enveloping trail. Clary sage adds an herbal green clarity that keeps the richness breathable, while styrax strengthens the resin.
Overall the scent moves between amber, balsamic, woody, and musky registers, with both fresh-spicy and warm-spicy flashes. An earthy, animalic undertone gives it edge, balanced by aromatic and resinous facets.
This is a nighttime, ritual-like woody oriental best worn slowly, letting it develop on skin. Dense and meditative rather than everyday fresh, it asks for time so the resinous drydown can fully open.
It will appeal to fans of woody orientals built on incense, soft suede, and resins, and to admirers of Paolo Terenzi's amber-rich style with an animalic base. A good match for anyone drawn to enveloping, shadowed scents worn regardless of gender.
Arkano della Morte settles into gray amber, musk, and styrax, true to its name: a meditation on darkness that stays elegant throughout. An intense, coherent chapter in the V Canto universe.
