The opening pairs black currant and plum with cinnamon. It smells bright and juicy with a light sweetness, warmed just enough to feel cozy rather than heavy.
At the heart, rose meets osmanthus and incense. The osmanthus adds a velvety, apricot-like glow, while incense pulls a sheer veil of smoke and resin across the florals.
That light-versus-dark contrast keeps it from feeling traditional. The rose stays clear, yet it turns modern and a little moody as fruit and smoke play against each other.
