Had I seen the notes, I wouldn’t have tried it, thinking it would be a heavy gourmand. I did perceive a coffee note, not overly literal, but a dark, enveloping, roasted, and sweet aroma; at the same time, it’s quite airy. Compared with Black Opium Le Parfum, BO is a denser dark vanilla-coffee and also performs better. And the scent is slightly different, between the pear note and the cinnamon one. Even so, for the first 2-3 hours it had pretty good projection.
