About Dieciocho Elixir
Dieciocho Elixir by MARIA CHER.: A Sweet, Floral Amber for Women
Dieciocho Elixir is a women's fragrance from MARIA CHER. built around an amber accord with a distinctly gourmand feel. It opens with citrus and spice, turns honeyed and floral at the heart, and settles into a warm, cozy base.
The top notes feature orange blossom, bergamot, and ginger; the heart blends honey, Hedione, and broom; the base rests on benzoin, caramel, ambroxan, and cashmere. Together they create a scent that feels both bright and enveloping.
The opening is energetic and clean: bergamot provides a sparkling citrus lift, ginger adds a gentle kick, and orange blossom introduces a soft white-floral nuance.
Honey dominates the middle of the fragrance, giving it a smooth, syrupy richness. Hedione contributes a transparent, radiant quality, while broom adds a subtle green and slightly woody undertone.
The base leans into the sweet side with caramel and benzoin, while ambroxan and cashmere lend warmth, muskiness, and a velvety texture. This is where the perfume becomes truly comforting.
The dominant accords include amber, honey, caramel, musk, and white florals, with citrus and spicy touches. Despite its sweetness, it maintains enough structure to avoid feeling overly heavy.
Based on 17 user ratings, it holds an average score of 4 out of 5, suggesting consistent appeal among fans of amber gourmands.
This perfume suits women who enjoy sweet, warm, and slightly musky fragrances with a floral edge. It's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comforting scent for fall and winter evenings.
Dieciocho Elixir is a well-balanced amber fragrance that feels both sugary and elegant. With its floral heart and smooth base, it's a dependable pick for lovers of gourmand perfumes.

Powerful, sweet, honeyed, and oriental aroma. Very similar to the original Cher 18, only with a more complex, deep, mysterious, elegant, and nocturnal spin. Honey notes clearly dominate, although there is a prominent floral touch that, in my opinion, gives the fragrance a vintage feel. I had it in my collection for a good while, and I must say that at first it was pure honey; then over the months it became more vintage but sweet, in the style of La Petite Robe Noire. It is a perfume that exudes presence, respect, and night. That said, it is 100% suitable for winter and cold autumn; in summer I found it impossible to wear because of its potency.
It’s incredible. It has nothing to envy an imported perfume. Powerful: if you wear it daily, you get asked about it daily. I’ve gotten more compliments with this one than with other designer fragrances. It’s cotton candy combined with strawberry caramel, although it’s not listed. Exquisite.
I remember having this perfume; I used it a couple of times and ended up giving it away because it was too cloying. It’s pretty, very sweet, for very cold days, and with a long-lasting performance. It’s quite similar to the original, but this one is more honeyed and stronger. It could be a very good option for wearing at night.
This perfume is atomic, impossible to doubt. In my city, I would have needed it in Patagonia.
Unfortunately it gives me a headache, but it’s really nice (like the regular Cher 18, which also gives me a headache – it must be the honey) and it lasts for centuries on the skin.
