This E.Coudray gem transports me back to the golden age—a timeless classic. I own the body oil version. Jacinthe Et Rose smells like spring, reminiscent of rain-soaked flowers; it’s incredibly clean with that characteristic powdery, soapy touch. The rose takes center stage: slightly boozy at first, then fresh as morning dew. Accompanied by freshly blooming hyacinth and peony, the woods, ylang-ylang, and a very subtle vanilla emerge later. It’s a feminine fragrance, cleanly floral, powdery, and soapy—very 1920s, exquisitely vintage. Longevity is high but sits close to the skin, with very soft projection, though this is an oil. A precious scent with ingredients that feel entirely natural.
