This is my first Rayhaan and it’s disappointing: it’s not bad, but the influencer hype is way overblown. 1. It’s not masculine; everyone thought it smelled like a woman’s perfume. 2. Nothing new here—just a loud, synthetic citrus vibe like Limoni, not worth the price. 3. It’s not an Afternoon Swinn inspiration and it doesn’t even reach Jean Lowe Azure. 4. If you love citrus, don’t pay more than $25. 5. The bottle looks terrible, very Western. 6. The only good thing is the magnetic cap. I’ll give it time to mellow; maybe a miracle will save Icarus from its arrogant ambition.
It’s worth noting that the early batches last surprisingly long for a citrus: at 8 hours, it still smells good on the skin with about three hours of projection. The scent is citrusy, a typical cologne structure with neroli and woods, but the citrus stays strong the whole time. It’s quite linear. I layered it with Game of Spades Full House and Rayhaan absolutely devoured it, showing how intense it is. However, it smells pretty artificial; if it were natural, it wouldn’t last this long. It doesn’t feel refined, not even for the price. My partner liked it (7/10), but I’d give it a 6. After a while, it got on my nerves. It has hype, but it will pass. Don’t go crazy trying to get it.
