It’s a fragrance that teleports you back to college days. It smells like a young guy, an American football player. It has soft woody notes and is very fresh too.

  • A magnificent sweet fragrance; you’ll surely get compliments. Plus, it’s a very original scent, and on my skin, it lasts quite a while.

I’ve bought it twice and I love the fragrance (it’s the one they use to scent the stores). It has a very exotic and summery smell, with coconut, woods, etc. Good longevity on skin and clothes.

  • Sweet and woody with a subtle coconut touch. Hollister claims it’s frozen pineapple, but I don’t get that; it’s youthful, almost vanilla-like, not for extreme heat but for fresh summer days, fall, or rainy afternoons. The coconut gives a tropical vibe, like a suntan lotion. It smells like the Hollister store and the beach since they use it to scent the shop. Moderate longevity, about 5-6 hours, with a faint sillage.

  • A sweet and woody fragrance with a subtle coconut aroma. The Hollister website says the main note is frozen pineapple, but I don’t detect any pineapple at all. It’s a youthful fragrance, but I don’t see it for a very hot day because it’s too sweet, almost hazelnut-like. I see it more for a cool summer, autumn, or rainy afternoons. The light coconut touch gives a tropical sensation, like a coconut bronzer. They use this perfume to scent the store, so it has that clothing and beach store vibe. Moderate longevity, about 5 to 6 hours, and moderate-to-weak trail.

  • It’s JPG Le Beau but with more wood, making it better suited for cold weather and lasting longer… yes, it outperforms Le Beau, even though So Cal has been reformulated; the version from 10 years ago was an absolute bomb.

  • It’s Le Beau, but with a bit more wood, making it more wearable in colder weather, and… better performance. Yes, better than Le Beau… and even though So Cal is heavily reformulated, the old version from 10 years ago was an absolute bomb.

  • A good call for summer; I’m surprised they don’t list the notes here. I’ve read it smells like pineapple, but I don’t get that. To me, it smells like lime, coconut, iris, and tonka bean.

It’s woody and fruity-citrusy. I don’t recommend it because it’s outdated and smells like a Hollister store, though it does smell good, I will say. The performance isn’t the best, but it gets the job done. Better to decant Le Beau EDT instead of this one; they smell similar, but JPG is definitely better.

Woody and fruity-citrus. I wouldn’t recommend it because it smells like the Hollister store and feels dated, even though it smells very good. The performance is decent but not incredible. I’d rather decant the JPG Le Beau EDT; they smell similar, but the JPG version is definitely superior.

  • I was impressed by this Hollister, especially since it’s a freshie in this style. It lasts more than seven hours on the skin and trails for about five. It smells like a store scent, beach lotion with coconut and tropical fruits, maybe some moss and aquatic notes. It’s the typical cheap spray, but here there’s more quality; it’s more linear and longer-lasting. It really stands out. Maybe for younger people, under thirty. SMELL: 7/10 QUALITY: 9/10 ORIGINALITY: 7.5/10 TRAIL: 8/10 PROJECT: 7/10 LONGEVITY: 8/10 TOTAL: 8/10 It’s better than those freshies that cost the same.

  • Something weird happened to me: I tried it at Hollister, loved it, and bought it, but immediately stopped liking it. I tossed it straight into the drawer to avoid headaches. It’s very sweet, heavy, and winter-appropriate; nothing like what you’d expect from a Californian or beach scent. Not fresh or citrusy at all.

  • It’s a shame they don’t sell it anymore. It’s not the top-tier option, but it’s super versatile and suits anyone. It smells like those golden years, the 2000s/2010s: pure youth, party vibes, and freedom.
