It’s a dense, spiced rose with a soft, smooth oud base, no acidity or harsh edges, sitting on an opulent bed of patchouli and amber. That base keeps the rose from dominating too much, even appealing to those who don’t usually love florals. I don’t detect any incense at all. It’s an exquisite, distinguished, elegant fragrance with the perfect amount of sweetness. I’m obsessed and it deserves a bottle if you’re looking for something for special occasions, especially in formal settings. It also works great for important work meetings. Lasts over 10 hours on skin and much longer on clothes, with a notable sillage. Already on my wishlist. This Yellow Rose – Incense smells like Montale or Mancera, where rose is the base dancing with oud or amber of varying qualities. Here, however, it shines for its quality—very polished and elegant, with a velvety texture. What sets it apart is the cinnamon and that sweet touch, making it more bold and unique for this DNA. I love it; sometimes it reminds me of Oud Couture (my favorite in the rose-oud combo), equally elegant, but this Bohoboco one is more versatile and clean. I recommend trying it, especially if you’re into these scents. Rating: 7/10 Tested on official sample.
