The most brutal perfume I’ve ever smelled, but I don’t recommend it to anyone and don’t waste your money.

  2. I blind-tested it at a niche perfumery because the name caught my attention. I’d seen a few TikToks about Toskovat’, but I didn’t want to be swayed by reviews since, in the end, everything is very subjective. That said, in my opinion, this perfume is more of an olfactory experience than something I’d wear. If I had to describe it with a scene, I’d say it’s like bleeding in the snow. It’s a perfume I usually describe as cold. The gunpowder, iodine, and that ‘blood’… metallic smell… is what predominates for me. Lots of projection and longevity. The price depends on your budget, tastes, and whether you like the experience. Personally, I’m not able to value this perfume for my collection. I didn’t like anything about it, but hey, try it yourself! That said, I don’t see it for a blind buy for me.

  4. The day I met this fragrance, I had the pleasure of blind-testing several from the house without knowing the notes or chords, just reading the name and hoping to smell something that would make me say: ‘Yes, this is it’, ‘This takes me to…’. When I atomized Inexcusable Evil, my hair stood on end and I couldn’t even stay smelling the blotter for one second. Something was wrong, something smelled off, and emotionally it made me uncomfortable, almost a visceral rejection. Objectively, it has a very sharp metallic aspect, with mineral nuances, something earthy, something burnt, and a very realistic blood accord. But it causes me tremendous discomfort. I swear I tried to analyze it more, but my stomach hurt smelling it for more than two seconds, my teeth chattered, and I got a headache. It was like voluntarily walking up to an aggressor and telling them ‘hit me’, and they hit me, and I moved away by reflex, but I came back to stand in front of them again, repeating this cycle in an inexplicable addiction to violence. This olfactory experience (because that’s what I consider it, I don’t see this for perfuming anyone lol) took me to a battlefield, where there’s an impossible conversation to reach an agreement between rage, gunfire, anguish, and mutilated humans. I don’t know if on skin the appreciation would be different, nor if it evolves into something else, I just know that the half-hour I spent trying to understand it was the most anguishing half-hour on this perfumery journey

Pleasantly surprised by this fragrance. I tried it at a niche and indie store and didn’t expect how addictive the scent was. I wouldn’t buy it because I wouldn’t wear it much, but as a scent to appreciate or smell on someone else, I like it. I’ve returned to the blotter many times and even went back to the store, even though it gives me a headache, I can’t tear my nose away lol. I smelled it on a rainy day and it was magical and melancholic to death. Wonderful concept; I perceive a lot of gunpowder with metallic touches and something earthy. I imagine it like a war tank (though I’ve never smelled one xD).

  9. People on social media say it smells like rotting meat or death, but that’s a lie. It has a very different profile from the usual; it’s not disgusting or vomit-inducing. I like it: it opens powerful and sharp, hard to assimilate, then leaves a metallic scent when dry. It’s dark, strong, and penetrating, lasting 10-12 hours on skin. DO NOT BUY IT BLIND.

  10. There’s a lot of noise about this perfume, whether it smells like rotting meat, blood, or war. In my case, upon smelling it, I felt something penetrating and peculiar. I think we’ve all smelled something similar in life, but it’s not unpleasant, simply very sharp. Here are two paths: one aseptic, like medication and sterile solutions due to the iodine, and another dusty, dirty, like concrete and gunpowder. It’s very metallic, hence the blood connection, though it doesn’t smell like blood itself. When dry, it feels more earthy and woody. It could evoke an emergency room in the middle of a war. Is it wearable? I wouldn’t wear it, but some people would. I see it as an olfactory experiment and admire its complexity and irreverence.

I think if you smell this in the dry-down phase without being told it has blood and gunpowder notes, or that it’s inspired by the desperation and pain of war, you wouldn’t see it coming. Few would say it smells repulsive. Smells different? Yes. Smells strange? Yes. And you might not like it? Of course. But does it smell bad? NO. After so much context on YouTube and TikTok with horrific images, I expected a slap in the face upon smelling it. It wasn’t like that. The opening didn’t seem overwhelming; it’s a soft gunpowder. After 2 or 3 minutes, that gunpowder fades and that metallic, mineral note emerges, evoking blood. If you expect it this way, it will remind you of blood, because iron is iron, that’s simple. It might result in disgust if you’re looking for something bad, which is what it aims for. But objectively, it doesn’t smell bad. I’ve smelled worse things, like gunpowder and scorched smoke in Vi et Armis or Tonnerre de Beaufort London; that really overwhelms. It’s not easy, it moves away from the usual, but it’s neither repulsive nor vomit-inducing. Maybe you won’t receive compliments, but also no rejection. It might attract attention, and not necessarily for bad reasons.

  12. Holy cow, what a hard review… I don’t know if to say it’s good or bad. On one hand, it seems like a disgusting perfume that I’d never wear. On the other, it’s of very high quality and perfectly replicates the moment it seeks. If you like blood, gangrene, gunpowder, and oxidized iron scents, you’ll love it; if not, stay away, because this is really that.

  13. Holy crap, this review is so hard… I don’t know if to give it a yes or no… On one hand, it smells disgusting, I’d never wear it. On the other, the quality is insane and it perfectly replicates the vibe you’re looking for. If you like blood, gangrene, gunpowder, and oxidized iron, you’ll love it; if not, stay away because this is exactly what it is.
