I bought this blind because I’ve heard it smells almost exactly like Chanel Cristalle EDP, which I used for years until they raised the price and discontinued the small bottles. And I wasn’t wrong: it does remind me a lot of it, though it lacks the same depth, longevity, and projection. But for the price, you can’t ask for more.
Spectacular fragrance. I found it to be a linear scent with a fresh opening that fades as it dries down, but never shifts notes. I bought it online hoping it would resemble Chanel Cristalle as reviews suggest, and not only does it resemble it—they’re practically identical. So Flora Jade is an excellent alternative to that legendary fragrance, but at a much lower price. I’m very happy with this veteran British house, which seems well-known for its lavender cologne. The scent clings to the skin for hours and the trail is moderate.
