Beautiful bottle with a dense, resinous juice. It smells like a creative indie fragrance: woody oud and hot resins evoking a winter cabin by a fireplace. A touch of cinnamon and vanilla adds sweetness without veering into gourmand or creamy territory. It’s potent, winter-appropriate, and unisex, but it overwhelms me; it becomes tiring after a few minutes due to that feeling of hot tar that fatigues the senses, similar to Kerosene’s Blackmail.

It’s potent, winter-ready, and unisex, but it overwhelms me; after a few minutes, it becomes tiring due to that feeling of hot tar that fatigues the senses, similar to Blackmail by Kerosene.

A truly original and hard-to-classify creation with flawless artistic structure. It has darkness and charisma for dressing up, perfect for intense, serious, and mysterious people. Performance is sufficient, though projection is weaker than other fragrances from the house, lasting about 8-10 hours on the skin.

As it dries down, smoky incense and medicinal oud take over, shifting from balsamic to smoky wood. Longevity is excellent, though projection and sillage are limited. It reminds me of Ponsa’s Indy Oud (which I prefer for its spiced oud) and Tauer’s Au Coeur du Dessert for that dirty, animalic amber.
