  Pirineum takes a classic route, with that vintage, woody, and green touch that also has a fougère vibe. Yesterday on blotter it did nothing for me, but today on skin it’s starting to stick a bit; although it’s not my style, it leaves a green, earthy, and spicy aura that doesn’t bother me, especially since it improves so much as it dries. It reminds me of those classic colognes; it would be to my Almah collection what Neroli Portofino is to Tom Ford. The smell is very similar to the classic Sanex shower gel, so basically you smell clean, freshly showered. I see it as ideal for daytime, unisex but something I imagine more on a man than a woman. Scent: 6, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 8, Originality: 5, Overall: 6.5

  The Pirineum is very classic, reminiscent of vintage colognes with woody, green, and slightly fougère notes. Yesterday on blotter I didn’t like it at all, but today on skin it’s starting to hook me a bit; it’s not my usual style, but I feel a green, earthy, spicy, and fresh aura that doesn’t disgust me, even if it’s still more for others. It dries down much better. It reminds me of classic colognes; it would be to my Almah collection what Neroli Portofino is to Tom Ford. The scent smells a lot like the classic Sanex shower gel, so what it achieves is smelling clean, like just out of the shower. I see it as daily wear, unisex, but I imagine it more on a man’s skin than a woman’s. Scent: 6, Longevity: 8, Projection: 7, Value: 5, Versatility: 8, Originality: 5, Overall: 6.5

  Sometimes you don’t need to overthink it thanks to a fellow reviewer’s take. Emorandeira described it perfectly: this Almah EDP is powdery, baby-powdered, soapy, with a balsamic and floral touch. We could get bogged down in the notes, but the blend is clear: IT SMELLS LIKE SANEX, just a lot. It’s not a subtle nod; it’s 90% that commercial gel I used in my teens 20 years ago. With more intensity and maybe a bit more refinement, but the final sensation is like applying an industrial amount of that product. What can I say, pay whatever they ask to smell like Sanex, everyone’s choice. That said, the feeling of cleanliness is unmatched. On these overused YouTube lists, this should definitely take a top spot.
