I’m a huge fan of Bortnikoff, and this smells very different from their usual stuff. Roses dominate, but they’re not elegant—they’re sharp and vibrant. I guess pink pepper gives it that edge, even if I don’t smell it directly; it’s definitely there. Bergamot adds a citrusy spark to the roses, though it’s not super clear. What I do recognize as a signature is the oud that emerges later: it’s not the highlight, but it really softens the opening. At times, I get a natural musk vibe, and knowing Dimitry, it might be unlisted. Performance isn’t the best in the collection, but for a natural extract, it’s decent: 5-7 hours on male skin with 2-3 hours of projection, maybe a meter or so.
