Descripción
New Oud by Hayari Parfums is an oriental floral fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2016, this olfactory composition was created by nose Cécile Zarokian. The top notes unfold the freshness of bitter orange, petit grain, and orange blossom; the heart reveals the elegance of neroli, oud wood, and saffron; while the base notes land with the depth of patchouli, Egyptian papyrus, vetiver, and juniper.

At first, I thought it was Dior’s Poison, but after smelling it more, I realized it also fits the line of Armani’s Stronger With You. But after testing it and seeing how it works, comparisons don’t matter; it’s delicious! Warm, sweet, with saffron, patchouli, and orange blossom perfectly balanced, giving way to a refined oud with a soft earthy and green touch. It’s enveloping, elegant, and distinguished. That first impression fades because everything smells very natural, nothing synthetic. It took me a while to appreciate it, but now I’m obsessed. For me, it’s unisex, perfect for formal or semi-formal looks. Good sillage and longevity, not invasive, but the trail is noticeable for over 8 hours. Highly recommended. Scent 8/10, Sillage 8.5/10, Longevity 9/10, Projection 8.5/10.
Probably smells very similar to Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir. Honestly, oud perfumes are a game-changer; they tend to last incredibly long on the skin.
A real gem from the Hayari house, top-tier quality. It has a drying-down trick I didn’t know about. It starts with a rich, almost chocolatey oud, with a very subtle animalic note that fades quickly, all driven by citrus. Then it deepens, becoming more woody, and the best part is when a scent emerges that reminds me of Opium Pour Homme, but denser and more oriental, lasting for hours. It also has a bit of Poison Girl, but less. It lasts over 10 hours without fail, projects strongly at first and then consistently at arm’s length (lasts several days on clothes and paper). It’s unisex, though I see it more as a men’s fragrance. One detail: it’s by Cécile Zarokian, the new star of perfumery. Bye!
