Perfumes de Francis Camail

Francis Camail is a renowned master perfumer who has left an indelible mark on the world of fragrances. Born in France, Francis developed a passion for perfume at an early age and decided to pursue a career in the industry.

After completing his training, Francis began his career as a perfumer at Florasynth, a prominent fragrance company in the 1960s. He then worked for International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) and Symrise.

Francis collaborated with many well-known brands throughout his career, including Agatha, Bond No. 9, Calypso Christiane Celle, Courrèges, Estée Lauder, Gale Hayman, Goutal, House Of Sillage, Pierre Balmain, Pierre Wulff, Robert Beaulieu and Rothenstein. He is especially known for creating the fragrances Goutal Eau d’Hadrien, Pierre Balmain Ivoire de Balmain and House Of Sillage Benevolence.

He worked at Robertet, a fragrance company based in Grasse, France, and continued to create fragrances.

Despite the challenges of maintaining a consistent level of notoriety, Francis’s talent and dedication allowed him to remain at the top of his career. His legacy as a master perfumer continues to inspire and influence the industry today.
