Perfumes de Florent di Marino

Born in the French Alps, Florent spent his childhood surrounded by nature and landscapes; he studied in Nice and completed his perfumery training in Paris. The multifaceted experiences throughout his life and his fascination with science and art planted the seeds of his creative journey. When he turned 20, he accidentally discovered fragrance as a new way to express his imagination through a chemical test. From then on, he firmly took the path to becoming a perfumer. Ferocious and determined. In 2010, Florent began his career in fragrance houses under the guidance of leaders from various categories and renowned perfumers such as Anne Flipo and Alienor Massenet. He seized the opportunity and demonstrated his talent in both consumer fragrances and fine perfumery. From France to Singapore and now to China, Florent is a globe-trotter. A totally new culture, food, and, of course, new aromas enriched his life (so much so that his wife is Thai) and he incorporates these ideas into his creation process. Florent believes in the harmonious flow between creativity and methodology. In his words: “Writing the formula and being methodical in the approach is as important as being creative. Being creative without method would basically be trying your luck”.

2010 – STARTS HIS PERFUMERY CAREER IN PARIS IN THE R&D DEPARTMENT

2012 – JOINS THE ISIPCA PERFUMERY SCHOOL

2015 – JOINS THE IFF PERFUMERY SCHOOL AND WORKS CLOSELY WITH ANNE FLIPO

2017 – MOVES TO SINGAPORE AND ESTABLISHES IN ASIA

2024 – JOINS SYMRISE SHANGHAI
