Descripción

Woman by Ralph Lauren by Ralph Lauren is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by perfumer Anne Flipo. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant freshness thanks to the pear, blackcurrant, and rhubarb. The heart reveals an elegant florality with neroli, orange blossom, and Turkish rose, while the base settles on a warm, woody foundation of hazelnut, sandalwood, and woody notes.

Delicious aroma, I feel it’s summery; it smells of flowers, and although it doesn’t list coconut, I do feel it’s there… that must be why when they applied it to me, I imagined myself walking on the beach.

  • Delicious, delicate, feminine, and very elegant… it has an DNA reminiscent of 90s perfumes like the traditional Carolina Herrera. Its opening is potent and sweet, with a strong neroli note well-balanced, perhaps the wood touch keeps it from being too overwhelming. I sense a very light, slightly spiced rose. Its dry-down is deliciously talcum-like and very warm; it wraps you sweetly like the loving embrace of an elegant grandmother.

  • Kharynbranchet

There’s a coconut note that isn’t listed but is quite noticeable during the 7 hours it stays on the skin. It smells like the beach, like a vacation on a cruise. Charming fragrance!

I’m editing my review. I don’t know what happened, but I’m tired of it, it’s becoming overwhelming; I can’t stand it anymore… I’m using it as a room freshener and barely tolerate it; I feel it’s very alcoholic, as if the essence has evaporated. I don’t know, I won’t be buying it again.

  • I bought it based on the good reviews and I think it’s a super good perfume, but not for me. It’s a very sweet and potent floral; yes, it feels a bit vintage. I like smelling it from the bottle or spraying a bit on my wrist, but even that ends up being overwhelming; I feel it’s dry. I think I’ll gift it to my mother as soon as I get the chance. It smells like a fine perfume for an older lady in her 40s.

  • A beautiful perfume, very elegant and versatile, with excellent performance. Neroli, pear, and hazelnut: a winning combination.

  • PERFUMON! Elegant, creamy, and beautiful. For those of us from Argentina, Guillermina Valdez’s ‘Paris noir et Blanc’ is very similar.

  • Thefragrancelover

At first, a fruity opening with pear that quickly blends with flowers, especially creamy, sweet neroli. It’s an exquisite combination that then opens up to subtle woods and hazelnut. A fragrance of great quality with good longevity and sillage; on my skin, it lasts up to 7 hours. People notice it and compliment it. I find it very versatile for any season, day or night. Ideal for celebrations, parties, dinners, or work gatherings.

  • On my skin, I don’t detect the pear, but rather the blackcurrant; an initial burst of acidic red fruits, followed by powerful neroli. By the 2-hour mark, the dry-down is quite fast, leaving only some sweet wood, no hazelnut. It reminds me of Givenchy’s Amarige: a sharp white floral, but without that legend’s longevity and sillage. It lasts about 4 hours, then is only detectable up close. It doesn’t linger on clothes or leave a trail unless freshly applied.

  • DulceInvierno

A beautiful, charming, elegant, and sparkling white floral. I usually hate neroli, but here they have a perfect balance with the other notes and are very versatile; I can smell it from morning until the end of the day. It has me fascinated. I give it five stars; it’s exquisite.

  • Rich sweetness of flowers and fruits to rest your nose from so many trendy gourmands. The trail is moderate, but on my skin, it lasts 3 hours at best. I gifted it to a friend because for neroli, I stick with Givenchy’s L’Interdit, which lasts much longer; although it smells similar, I prefer it.

  • Katrinadeanhell

Its scent is exquisite, not cloying or heavy. The trail is moderate and lasts about 3 to 4 hours on skin. It’s a white floral, fresh and fruity, neither too sweet nor normal, just right in the middle. You enjoy it from start to finish; it smells clean and is similar to L’Interdit. Very versatile, if I like it.

  • I went to test it, and at first, it’s strong and powerful, like creamy red fruits, vanilla-infused, and roses with hazelnut. Then the intensity drops, and it becomes rich, elegant, and very feminine. I liked it quite a bit. It has good longevity; it lasted all day on my clothes and more.

  • geomeun.apyeon

I always test it whenever I can in the perfumery; it’s elegant and matches perfectly on my skin. It’s sweet but classy… it reminds me a bit of Lancôme’s Miracle but with touches of honey. I’m not a fan of elegant perfumes, but this one makes a difference: even after washing my skin, the scent remains intact. I’ll add it to my wishlist.

  • Meleagrina80

I tested it right after leaving the store… love at first sight! I was fascinated by the neroli. I passed it up several times and chose something else, but I never forgot it. In 2019, I bought the Intense version for fear it would be discontinued. Although I don’t regret it, I kept missing the neroli from the original. Finally, it’s mine. Great perfume, elegant and feminine. It’s not an 80s/90s vintage or a typical 2000s sweet scent; it’s a middle ground—sweet but with powerful florals for those who love flowers to the max. I love Amarige, but they’re not the same: in Woman, the neroli dominates, fresh as if just cut; in Amarige, it’s just one facet. Woman is the child of Amarige but with its own personality. For me, it’s floral; I don’t detect the pear or the blackcurrant, it’s an exquisite woody neroli. Very sensual, perfect for winter nights. Lasts more than 12 hours on clothes, the trail is high and noticeable. Worth every euro.

I’m not a fan of RL—I’ve received several gifts I didn’t like—but this is a diamond. It smells clean, elegant, and balanced. My boyfriend loves it, and I wear it a lot in spring.

  • CamiAckerman

So delicious! 😍 I gifted it to my mom for her birthday. It lasts forever and smells amazing. It’s floral with intense neroli, pear, and hazelnut notes. Sophisticated, elegant, sweet, and super creamy. Perfect for mid-seasons and winter, versatile for day and night. A 10.

  • I bought it blind and fell in love at first sight. A gorgeous fragrance; those neroli notes are exquisite, pure sweetness. I loved it!

  • verdepensativo

I received it in an exchange with a friend. I had biases because I associate Ralph Lauren with youthful and light lines, but I loved it. I don’t perceive the peach, but I feel that note all the time and a ripe fruit aroma that reminds me of Poeme, Tresor, or Amarige: a perfume full of sun and great presence that surprised me. Woman is very warm and evolves into floral and nutty notes. It’s exquisite, but for a more mature woman. Great quality, persistent, huge trail and projection; you apply it and it stays with you for hours.

  • Gourmand Bottle

I bought a decant based on the good reviews, but it didn’t convince me; it smells very ‘old lady’ with overpowering florals. Thank goodness I tested it first, because I almost bought it blind and would have regretted it.

  • It’s a classic brought into the modern era. Rhubarb, neroli, and light woody notes dominate; it has minimal floral sweetness and lots of sophistication without being reserved for special occasions. It’s elegant and versatile, reaffirms femininity, and is perfect for a sober personality because it has no flashiness. The bottle is simple and bold. Performance is moderate: it projects for about two hours on my skin and needs reapplication by noon; it lasts longer on clothes than on skin. The price is a bit high compared to giants like L’Interdit or LVEB, I think you pay for the luxury of owning it. It’s a perfect gift for a woman. Although it’s unique, there are similar options like Essencial Classic or Essencial Exclusive by Natura at a lower cost. Who will like it: everyone.

  • Who can be bothered by this beauty? It’s elegant, modern, feminine, and timeless, ideal to always have on hand. Compared to the Intense version, it’s more classic, with a slightly retro aroma on my skin but very seductive, with moderate longevity and trail.

  • It’s really offensive to say a perfume has an age or is ‘old’; that just means they don’t have a trained nose and don’t know what they’re talking about. Perfumes don’t have an age.

  • I just tried it and, since I was traveling, I noticed a citrus mango scent that really caught my attention; it seemed different from other times I’ve smelled it. I think I’ll buy it, I really like it.

  • I find it delicate and a balanced floral: neroli, orange blossom, tangerine, pear, pineapple, and mango. It seems very similar to My Way but softer; I like both. RL is like the intense version of My Way, fruitier, with better longevity and projection. It’s super versatile, nothing ‘old lady’ about it.

  • It’s delicious, but in my case, it’s too much. The scent stays the same from the moment you apply it until the end of the day; for others it’s great, but for me it drowns out everything and becomes an annoying sweetness. Wear it only at night and when it’s not hot.

  • A white floral where the woody notes linger for ages. Very feminine, lasts 6-8 hours, and is the best gift for a woman. In the end, it leaves a woody trail that I absolutely adore; it’s super versatile, elegant for day and night. The bottle is gorgeous, the golden liquid and the amphora-style cap are unique.

  • Exquisite, I love it. It’s a perfume that makes you feel incredible, elegant, with a trail and longevity off the charts.

  • magostina

It’s a super delicious white floral, but on my skin it becomes overwhelming. It smells like creamy neroli with a powdery touch and a slight sweetness from berries and pears. It projects a lot and lasts all day, but it gives me headaches; it’s not my style. Those who love neroli or potent white florals with fruity sweetness might adore it. Note: it’s not gourmand or vanilla.

  • Menipea29

This perfume fascinated me. I repurchased it three times. Excellent longevity and sillage. I love the enveloping white flowers.

  • I’m head over heels at first sniff. It seems super feminine, sweet but elegant. The nardos are delicious, my favorite note, with a fruity touch. I see it as versatile, for daily wear or informal events. I think it’s more suitable for warm weather, spring, and summer. It’s one of those perfumes you can buy blind; in my case, it was a perfect choice. Longevity is very good, between 7 and 8 hours, with good sillage.

  • Woman is a great fragrance that has amazed me, especially its longevity and sillage (unlike the Ralph Lauren men’s scents that seem to fade away). It’s a fruity aroma that can become very sweet if worn during the day or in the heat. It doesn’t seem gourmand, but it suits any occasion and doesn’t need reapplication thanks to its long-lasting power. Edit: Over time, the scent wore on me, so I use it as a hair mist now, as it smells like shampoo or hair cream.

  • Beautiful fragrance. I don’t know any that resemble it. It’s the one that has received the most compliments. I think it’s no longer available in Uruguay because I can’t find it. I hope they don’t discontinue it because it’s a gem.

  • Karen Campos

This perfume made me fall in love with nardos. They are sweet, creamy (not heavy), and sweetened with pear and a woody base. It’s simple but very striking. Very feminine, with a lot of presence, ideal for the office. Good longevity and a just-right sillage. I need to try the Intense version. It works great for half the year, but I wore it today in summer and it was phenomenal. Highly recommended.

  • I was drawn to it for the white flowers, but I didn’t like it at all. Too sweet and a bit artificial; it reminds me of Paris Hilton’s Gold Rush. Although it doesn’t have vanilla, it has a creaminess and heaviness that gives the impression that it does.

  • username21

I truly love this luminous and feminine fragrance. It has excellent longevity on my skin. I’m down to my last bottle because it’s no longer available.

  • BeatrizBlackwood

Discontinued, but eternal. Woman by Ralph Lauren isn’t just a perfume; it’s a sanctuary. Warm, clean, creamy, and fresh, as if the sun and silk were embracing. In a world where almost everything is repeated, this smells like something that is no longer made, neither in bottles nor in people.

  • oliendobonito

Nardos, orange blossom, and pear take center stage. The nardos have a sweet touch, almost like tuttifrutti gum, bordering on cloying. Orange blossom balances everything with a luminous freshness. The pear is juicy and ripe, with a soft sweetness. It’s elegant, classic, and deeply feminine—a serious, well-constructed fragrance that leaves an impression. It works in almost any season, though it can be intense in summer. Imagine a spring day with sun and fresh air; you feel effortlessly put together. It’s a beast in longevity, lasting over 9 hours on clothes. It’s linear with moderate to high projection. Luminous, sweet, and hard to ignore. If you like Armani’s My Way, you’ll definitely love this, as they share those chic gum-like nardos. They’re not a dupe, but that note is very present in both. Captivating, classic, and feminine. It can be overwhelming in the middle of summer. Excellent longevity, more than 9 hours on clothes. Projection varies depending on sprays. It’s one of those perfumes anyone could love.
