Behind it is perfumer Jayson Tautic, who builds a play of contrasts: a bright citrus-and-spice opening, followed by a deep leather and tobacco heart.
The top notes are bergamot and cardamom. This fresh start gives the leather a modern edge, keeping it from feeling heavy or severe.
In the heart, mahogany, leather and tobacco create a warm, enveloping blend. The wood is polished and substantial, with a smooth presence that feels refined.
The base layers patchouli, vanilla and vetiver. Earthy and vanillic facets come through, with a restrained sweetness that stretches the sillage.
The dominant accords are woody, aromatic, warm spicy and vanillic, with touches of tobacco, patchouli, leather, earth, citrus and a hint of sweetness.
