It smells like warm milk coffee with caramel syrup, cozy and not icy. It brings back memories of the eighties’ Besos Montes, those gooey milk coffee candies. It’s a beautiful gourmand scent, without any pretensions of sophistication, ideal for lounging at home. It doesn’t evolve much; maybe by the end, it picks up a slightly more vanilla and powdery note. Nothing like Aquolina’s Pink Sugar, which is fruitier with a well-defined strawberry and licorice acidity; this Comptoir one is just vanilla coffee. It’s a shame it only lasts two or three hours. No projection, but it’s definitely noticeable.
