United Dreams Men Be Strong by Benetton

It finally arrived after a long wait and smells super fresh, though not as citrusy as I expected; it reminds me of an unidentifiable 90s aftershave. It lasts about 4 hours on my skin and ends with a freshly cut wood scent. Worth it for daily wear, performs just as well as its sister scent Go Far. I’ll definitely buy Aim High later since the entire United Dreams line seems great.

The opening is strong, citrusy, spicy from the pepper, floral, with a slight woody touch. I bought it blind just to have something more for daily use and it came very cheap in the 200ml version. It’s very honest, but the longevity is a shame; it’s a very masculine scent that stays weak on clothes and even worse on skin. Against Cuba Gold on skin, it’s a loser… damn Cuba has total longevity until night. Honestly, I won’t buy this again, but I will definitely repurchase Dream Big.

Another Benetton, this time United Men Be Strong. It opens with a powerful citrus note that lasts about half an hour, then blends with spices into a spicy-citrus fragrance. The dry down is strong, spicy, and very pleasant. It dominates until the 5-hour mark. It’s refreshing, meets the price-to-quality ratio, and is one of the best in the United Dreams line. I don’t detect the base notes well due to low longevity. Recommended for the gym or warm spring afternoons; during those 5 hours, you feel a great breeze. In short: citrusy, spicy, perfect for informal spring and summer use, it won’t disappoint.

Benetton Be Strong at €7 for 60ml: a steal that doesn’t disappoint. It smells phenomenal, starting super citrusy with lime and grapefruit, then ginger and black pepper kick in almost immediately, giving it a spicy, fresh, and sparkling touch. It doesn’t change much, staying consistent until it dries down, becoming slightly woody and warm. It’s generic but smells good, with decent longevity (about 5 hours) and moderate projection. I bought this perfume to vary my partner’s scent and it really surprised me. It’s fresh, but not too much; ideal for hot days and all kinds of walking. It lasts long enough.

Be Strong from the United Dreams series by Benetton is a fresh and woody fragrance, one that you can’t expect more from given its price-to-quality ratio. Its aroma is pleasant, fresh, somewhat green-herbal, and also spicy. If I had to mention a fragrance it resembles in style, I’d say Starwalker by Montblanc or something by Tommy Hilfiger. It’s a fragrance to be used in any season of the year; I’d recommend it as a gift for someone getting their first fragrance. I’d place it in the group of the best cheap fragrances launched in recent years. There’s nothing more to add.

But don’t compare it to Versace Eau Fraiche or Dior Leau Homme, that would be lying with treachery hehe. Benetton makes nice clothes but their fragrances leave a lot to be desired. They are all so generic and short-lasting like an aftershave splash. I don’t know if outside the United Colors of Benetton Man line there will be another one that passes the test and lasts over 4… cheap cuts and fresh for daily use, without greater pretensions of making a difference.

I love it, I use it daily, and it lasts about 8 hours. Recommended for ages 25+, it’s very imposing and degrades deliciously. It lingered on my clothes for days. Recommended for acidic skin; when you sweat, it intensifies and intoxicates women. I’ve received many compliments, I highly recommend it, it’s a modern and original creation.

When I put it on my skin, I smelled herbs, it reminded me of peppermint, and I just didn’t like the scent.
