  As soon as I sprayed it, the first notes I caught were cumin and clementine; the latter adds a citrusy touch with a hint of sweetness. The cumin fades quickly in the background, though it leaves a spicy trail. Gradually, in the heart, labdanum, tobacco, and olibanum take over. At first, the olibanum dominates—a dry, smoky scent very characteristic of incense. Then the tobacco kicks in, adding more dryness and roughness, and finally, the labdanum brings a warm, ambered finish. Here, the fragrance is sweet but not cloying, with a woody base. In the dry-down, the olibanum loses intensity and that smoky, dry sensation from the middle phase. Projection is moderate and longevity is good; in my opinion, it’s unisex, though with a more masculine character. I’d wear it better in cool weather, though it doesn’t feel oppressive in the heat. After just two uses, I think it’s a good perfume: not my favorite from the brand or my top tobacco scent, but it’s well-made, has quality and originality since it’s not your typical tobacco with honey or vanilla. The blend of olibanum and tobacco felt very intriguing to me.
