This Ember is the mirror of an overflowing passion; its drive to share its creations bore fruit in something truly unique. There are notes I can’t quite explain—it’s a constant sensation, like a whole blend is simmering. The embers invite you to enjoy it your own way, letting yourself drift with the ebb and flow of the notes. It stops time, and no manuscript can guide you; your perception rules everything. The first contact leaves you ecstatic; everything blends together in an explosion where every second feels out of reach. A halo of ambered sweetness dominates, elevating the incense and tobacco. The ember sensation is so real that today I don’t even know where it’s coming from, and it’s magnificent. As it warms on the skin, threads of caramel melt into leather—a hymn to those seeking wonder. It seems to have gathered all that sweetness and pushed it into hell; stepping into the underworld, everything burns. This is my first time with Oud Mostafa, and info is scarce, but it’s very rounded, without wild nuances, just the fur of a beautiful animal waiting to be understood. The info comes from Ensar Oud, and the experience is satisfying. I let myself go with the impulses; I love the creativity, and with quality ingredients, it’s a great option for lovers of niche perfumery. It’s the second batch, and I think the performance dropped; longevity on skin is overwhelming, but projection is noticeable only for the first two hours, then it becomes intimate. Sometimes I feel like it projects nothing, but with every movement, there are bursts. The price is high, but given the oud and the limited release, I feel it’s “accessible.” It’s a brand with a bright future; I’ll be watching.
