I’m not sure if they let me smell the original, but it smells like YSL Libre and Valentino Voice Viva.
It’s a dupe for YSL Libre.
To my nose, it’s a mix between Libre and Voce Viva, leaning more toward the latter because it lacks that soapy smell that Libre has.
I bought it blindly after reading it was very similar to YSL Libre, and indeed, it is. I love it because I adore Libre, and the idea is to use them alternately so I don’t run out of the original so quickly, since this Icon is much more accessible. As for longevity, sillage, etc., I haven’t checked yet since I just started using it. There’s a tiny note that makes it different; I can’t identify which one, but I actually like it more than its dupe. Excellent job.
I smelled it in the store, and on my skin, it was very soft; I’ll update once I buy it.
I bought it blindly based on reviews saying it’s identical to YSL Libre, and indeed, it is. I love it because I adore Libre and want to use it alternately so I don’t run through it as fast, since this Icon is much cheaper. I haven’t tested longevity and sillage yet, but there’s a little note that makes it different and I even like it more than its dupe. Excellent job.
It’s sweet and clean, reminding me a lot of YSL Libre. On skin, it lasts 3 hours, but I’ll update once I try it on clothes and hydrated skin. For the price, it’s worth having in the collection.
I went to try it because I read it was similar to YSL Libre, but I don’t think it has anything to do with it. Maybe they share a note as it dries, but that’s all.
I find Icon EDP for women more interesting than the men’s version, which doesn’t say anything to me. I can’t confirm if it smells exactly like YSL Libre because I forgot when I smelled it. The dry-down is super sensual due to an animalic musk, not that clean one, mixed with sweet vanilla, tobacco, and sandalwood.
At first, it smells fresh, like summer, and the lavender makes me think of YSL Libre, but then it shifts to something super sweet and vanilla-heavy, not gourmand and a bit heavy. It’s good, but I wouldn’t wear it in the heat. I think it’s ideal for women over 30, for work in autumn and winter.
I bought it two days ago, and at first spray, it’s super similar to YSL Libre; as it dries, it feels a bit sweeter and more vanilla-like on my skin than the original. It doesn’t last long, about 3 hours on skin and 7 on clothes, but for the price, if you like Libre, you’ll love it.
At first, I sensed something more floral, but as it dries on my skin, it becomes totally sweet with a touch of lavender. I recommend it to those seeking sweet scents; personally, they’re not my favorites. I see it as suitable for intermediate seasons, nothing for intense heat. The price is decent for the longevity; after 4 hours, it’s already barely noticeable on the skin.
I have to shout that it doesn’t resemble Libre!!! I have Libre EDP, I smelled it yesterday to check the myth and no, nothing alike. I think they’re forcing the resemblance for marketing. The fragrance is lovely and soft, but I felt it was more soapy and effeminate than sweet, and I repeat, very soft. It stays close to the skin, doesn’t project on my person, doesn’t stand out. I think if you like Libre, you might like this, but don’t expect a dupe because it isn’t one.
I only detect lavender and vanilla, no sweetness at all. I’d define it as a modern floral. It smells like YSL Libre, but lacks its depth, and is closer to Cher Iris, whose notes I’m copying here for comparison with Icon: Top with bitter orange, raspberry sorbet, red currant, and pink pepper; heart of green apple, green tea, peony, jasmine, and violet; base of cedar, musk, oakmoss, and amber. I love the bottle and cap; I can imagine them in crystal, what a beauty. For this spring, it’s a good buy in terms of price-to-quality ratio.
I don’t know Libre but if it smells like this… mehhh… the bottle color doesn’t match the scent. It projects little. I don’t think it’s worth the price.
I don’t know if it’s Libre or not, but I love The Icon. I’m addicted to sweet and gourmand scents, but I was looking for something lighter for spring/summer; this has citrus freshness and lavender without losing sweetness. On my skin, it smells like red berries, although they aren’t listed. For me, it’s not unisex, it’s very feminine. Curiously, it doesn’t last long on others, but on my clothes, it lasted days. It’s floral, fruity, sweet, and modern, delicious; when it dries down, it becomes vanilla. If you notice the lavender, it doesn’t smell like the men’s version. The bottle and box are gorgeous, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and affordable. For me, it’s a 10/10 and I recommend it from the heart.
I don’t know if it resembles Libre, but I absolutely love The Icon. The bottle and box are beautiful, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and affordable. For me, it’s a 10/10 and I recommend it.
Why the obsession with looking for dupes or clones everywhere? No, it’s not a clone of YSL’s Libre, it just resembles it because both have the blessed lavender as the protagonist, so it’s logical they coincide, but they aren’t the same. I liked The Icon more than Libre. It’s a fruitier and vanilla lavender, more ‘friendly’ and less unisex than the other. It’s a rich scent ideal for everyday wear. Although it’s low-cost, the packaging is gorgeous and the smell is delicious. It lasted me several hours and is intense; if I apply too much, it saturates me and gives me a headache. I love it, it’s an exquisite option.

On my skin, Icon Woman smells almost exactly like Libre EDP. I own both and the difference is minimal.
Not bad, the scent is soft, pleasant, and very gourmand, like sweet lavender. But it’s not a dupe for Libre; Libre is powerful, for an empowered girl that makes everyone look. The Icon is just a perfume that smells good for daily wear. If you’re looking for a very forced dupe for The Icon, it could be La Nuit Tresor a la Folie but in a softer version.
At first, it smells like orange blossom with a touch of lavender and a very distant vanilla. Then the vanilla comes out full force, with the orange blossom and lavender quite muffled and soft. What rich vanilla, very enjoyable and cozy, 0 gourmand, right up my alley. It does resemble the Libre EDT I own, especially in the dry-down; the evolution is different, with Libre being much more intense and dominated by lavender, while in The Icon, the protagonist is always the vanilla, muffled. Moderate longevity and projection, very little trail.
I love it! I was looking for something sweet that wasn’t caramel or cotton candy, and this is the spot. The trail is very subtle and lasts about 4 hours, so you need to reapply. Overall, it’s a friendly fragrance, not intrusive, nothing uncomfortable, and perfect for everyday wear.
I love it! I was looking for a sweet perfume that didn’t smell like caramel or cotton candy, and this is perfect. The sillage is very soft and the longevity is about 4 hours; you need to reapply. But overall, it’s a gentle fragrance, not penetrating, not uncomfortable, and perfect for everyday wear.
Super soft and clean fragrance. The tester lasted forever on my skin, but on me, nothing, what a pity. Reminds me of Libre but softer, ideal for everyday wear. Not for me, I’m looking for something that leaves a trail and this one doesn’t.
I tried it in-store based on the reviews, went home, hours passed, and even after showering, I still smelled vanilla, lavender, and roses. For me, it’s an absolute yes: I went to buy it and it’s already in my collection. I recommend it for night or going out; while it’s versatile, it works better for me that way, but it’s also great during the day, even for work followed by a night out. If it’s very similar to Libre, I use the Intense and love that vanilla note that makes it more persistent. I read it doesn’t last long on the skin, but in my case, it lasts a long time, I think it depends on everyone’s pH.
I heard about it while passing through a store because they say it’s a dupe for Libre, but it’s not. There’s similarity in the listed notes, but it’s like when you cook the same dish: the ingredients are the same, but everyone adds their own touch, and sometimes it ends up completely different. In the case of Icon, it’s a perfume with a strong vanilla presence above all else—a vanilla that isn’t elegant—and they added lavender, which worked so well with Libre, but I feel it just doesn’t fit; they only added it to look similar, and as a whole, it doesn’t result in a thought-out, balanced, or sophisticated work like Libre (which I’m not a fan of, but it has to be acknowledged that it’s pretty). The positive about Icon is its low cost and the fact that, being an abuse of vanilla, it will last for sure, unlike Libre or many other vanilla perfumes; it will last about 5 hours, which is plenty for Antonio Banderas. Added to its low cost, it’s decent. If you’re looking for something for daily use that doesn’t hurt your wallet, isn’t a full-on floral, or isn’t an overly aggressive sweet, try it in stores; the brand is very popular and easy to find. It’s also true that perfumes smell different on everyone; maybe it’s just not the best match for me.
Ahh, if they say it’s similar to Libre, then it must be! It’s a fairly potent floral with personality. Although I liked Splendid more; I loved that one because it was chocolatey, milky, feminine, and had a soft floral vibe. This one, on the contrary, is a potent floral, but like strong detergent. You’ll see if you like acidic florals; that’s how I’d describe it. My favorite remains the other one <3.
It arrived as a gift and I loved it. I was looking for simpler scents for the day, and this delivers on everything. It’s simple, fresh, sweet, and has medium longevity. I’m surprised by the fruity opening; it’s very juicy. As it dries down, the flowers settle into a creamy vanilla bed, but it always remains fruity and refreshing. It causes me a bit of anosmia; I don’t smell it after a while, but I get lots of compliments. I’ll definitely use it a lot in the summer. I recommend it for its affordable price; it’s a very satisfying scent.

It’s very pretty and feels like a lot. I gifted it to my mom, and now I’m going to buy one for myself.
Don’t buy the version that comes with the deodorant; it’s defective. It seems like they forgot to put the essence in the perfume—it smells like nothing. I’m not the first to complain about that.
Delicious! I’ve already bought it for the third time; I use it every day and it’s not invasive. Having vanilla, tonka bean, and musk is a dream for me. It projects for about two hours (on my skin), but then it fades. On clothes, though, it’s noticeable and literally lasts even after washing. SO DELICIOUS, beautiful, and cheap. BUY IT BLIND without fear!
Oh no, I absolutely hated it. It smells super harsh; there’s a note I think is tonka bean that smells cloying and annoying. They let me try it in the store, and I smelled like that all day—I hated it.
If it has notes reminiscent of Libre, think of them as cousins in body mist form: sweeter, younger, and lighter. I like it; sometimes I wear it with the other one. I also use it with Cacharel Amor Amor, Burberry Goddess, or Zara Hypnotic Vanilla 🤭🥰. It’s also great for a quick outing, although unfortunately, its longevity isn’t the best.
It brought back memories of that Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 body mist I used to have.
So cool, perfect for everyday use without spending a fortune. I really like it; it smells fruity on my skin and is super feminine. It doesn’t quite remind me of YSL Libre, though it has something that feels a bit like Nina Ricci. I’m not sure exactly what, but it’s definitely different.
