Nice and reliable perfume from this house that never ceases to surprise me. Tea of de night offers a soft perfume of muted orange and cardamom (which is the main accord) over a woody black tea (with smoky vetiver nuances). It avoids trendy sweeteners. It is simple and pleasant, of acceptable quality, offers no perfumery challenge, so it is very handy. Its performance is modest overall, soft sillage and moderate longevity at best, and clearly designed for men. The Fragrantica notes are wrong.
I think it’s an excellent tea perfume. It’s not the classic green tea found in other compositions, like the one from Yves Rocher. It’s more sober and neat. The woods are very noticeable. I see it more for men.
