What hooks me most about Lolita Lempicka is that magical connection between the bottles and the scents; they transport me to a weird world, like Alice in Wonderland or those psychedelic 70s cartoons like ‘Here comes the grump’. ‘Sweet Kiss’ is pure anise gourmand at the base, with a glazed cherry emerging from it and landing in dark cocoa. It’s a scent with a great vibe, youthful yet adult, with good longevity though the projection is moderate. I loved it; the cherry is very well balanced, and that dense, innocent twist makes it super sexy and cozy. It works well for almost anything, but its ideal spot is night, autumn, and winter; in mild or hot climates, it can be worn moderately. In short, the psychedelic journey of Lolita Lempicka is coherent, and ‘Sweet Kiss’ is worth it, which is why I added it to my collection. Plus, the quality-to-price ratio is excellent.
