Sustainability by VLH: A Green Floral with a Dark Chocolate Twist

VLH introduces Sustainability, a new unisex fragrance arriving in 2026. It was composed by perfumer Lesya Volkhonskaya.

The scent plays with contrasts: leafy green notes, creamy white flowers, bittersweet chocolate, and warm woods. It’s an unexpected mix that rewards a second sniff.

The opening pairs galbanum with blackcurrant leaves. Galbanum brings a resinous, green sharpness, while blackcurrant leaves add a slightly fruity, almost peppery edge. The start is crisp and vivid.

In the heart, dark chocolate meets gardenia. The gardenia gives a soft, creamy floral character, while the chocolate stays dark and not overly sweet. Together they create a smooth, enveloping effect.

The base rests on Tolu balsam and sandalwood. Tolu balsam adds a gentle, resinous sweetness; sandalwood provides a milky, creamy woodiness. The drydown is warm and lasting.

The listed accords span green, warm spicy, powdery, chocolate, aromatic, woody, white floral, sweet, balsamic, and amber. That gives the fragrance several faces depending on when and how you wear it.

Sustainability is designed for anyone who likes a versatile unisex scent. It works in everyday settings but feels especially at home in cooler weather.

So far it holds a rating of 4 out of 5, based on a single review. The early impression is promising; more wear tests will tell the full story.

People who enjoy unisex fragrances with a green, floral, and subtly gourmand character. Also a good fit for fans of white flowers and creamy woods.

Sustainability is a balanced and original creation: green at the start, floral and chocolatey at the heart, woody and balsamic in the base. It’s a confident piece of work from Lesya Volkhonskaya and a welcome addition to the 2026 lineup.
