It leans into a cozy contrast: bright boozy fruit up top, then darker tobacco, cacao and resins underneath.
The opening pairs boozy notes with prune and davana. The prune gives ripe, jammy body, while davana adds a green-herbal, almost liqueur-like edge.
The heart centers on cognac, framed by rose, tobacco, cacao and labdanum. Rose keeps it floral and lifted, tobacco and cacao pull it toward something richer and duskier.
The drydown blends tonka bean, opoponax, benzoin and burnt sugar. That is where the sweetness settles in, toasted rather than fresh, cushioned by soft balsams.
