It’s a gorgeous fragrance. Unlike vintage or soapy roses, this is a modern, minimalist, and spicy rose. The opening hits with a vibrant burst of pink pepper—not an aggressive, spicy kick, but rather sparkly and fresh, almost woody. In the heart, the rose emerges subtly, blended with bitter orange blossom and a touch of iris that lends a slightly powdery, elegant texture. The dry down is where the fragrance becomes skin. Amberwood and musks create a soft, clean, and slightly creamy sensation, staying close to the skin. Its performance, as is common with Henry Rose fragrances (which avoid harsh synthetic fixatives), is very low; unfortunately, it lasts about 1 to 3 hours on the skin. It might last a bit longer if applied to clothing. It’s an intimate fragrance, more of a skin scent that only you can truly perceive.
