Descripción

Rosa Centifolia by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin is a musky floral woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2022, this composition was created by Véronique Nyberg. The top notes unfold petit grain, cardamom, and osmanthus; the heart reveals bourbon geranium, rose, and jasmine; while the base settles on bourbon vetiver, sandalwood, and myrrh.

A super green, unisex rose that completely forgets that dusty, feminine, or grandma’s dressing room vibe. While the rose takes the lead, the jasmine and geranium give it a fresh green floral character. If you love florals, try this one with rose, green stems, and herbal notes. The other rose from the brand is another work of art—maybe less green, but with way more punch.

It’s a beautiful perfume, but despite being labeled unisex, it smells too masculine to me. I enjoy scents that lean slightly masculine, but this one doesn’t. I tested it and thought, ‘wow, that’s a strong man smell,’ haha. But objectively: on a man, it would be incredible; it makes me think of someone confident and elegant. The notes don’t lie: at first, you’re hit with olive and cardamomo. I can’t quite distinguish the petit grain, but I suppose it’s there. As it dries down, the flowers blend so well that I can’t tell which stands out more, maybe jasmine on my skin. Then those woody notes emerge, accompanying you until the very end. I find it heavy in projection, ideal for autumn-winter nights. It’s a fantastic fragrance, but for me, it’s for a very elegant man. If you’re a woman, you’ll only like it if you love unisex scents that heavily lean masculine.

It’s beautiful, but for me, even though it says unisex, it leans heavily masculine. I like perfumes with a masculine touch, but this is on another level: it smells like ‘real man.’ It would look incredible on a guy, evoking confidence and elegance. The notes don’t fail: at first, you get the olive and cardamomo hit. I can’t quite distinguish the petit grain, but I assume it’s there. As it dries down, the flowers blend perfectly—maybe the jasmine stands out on my skin. Then the woods kick in to carry you to the end. It’s heavy on projection, ideal for night in autumn or winter. It’s a beast of a fragrance, but for an elegant man. If you’re a woman, you’ll only like this if you love very masculine unisex scents.
