It starts as a sweet floral but nothing gourmand; you can smell the violet leaf right away. Very pleasant, almost identical to Aura Sensuelle. When it dries down, it smells like fondant dough, and that’s when it truly becomes a floral gourmand.
It really smells like violets. I only detect the violet leaf note at first, while many descriptions say it smells like violets. I’m hesitant to buy it blind with that doubt, since I love everything with violet flowers.
I really liked it. The violet leaf is noticeable at first, but as it dries, the neroli mixed with violet comes through, very refined. The downside is the longevity, which is typical for all Qissas—they don’t last long.
A blind buy that turned out well, but with quirks. I’m a fan of violet and Guerlain’s Insolence, but Qissa Gala has a different DNA. It opens retro, like an 80s romantic classic or those 2000s Yves Rocher florals featuring a single flower. But in the era of Arab gourmands, it evolves into a creamy base of coconut, musk, and vanilla. It smells like violet, but not like typical French ones; here, plum replaces the red berries. I think it’s top for layering, and the longevity is pretty good.
I really liked it. In the opening, the violet leaf is clear, but as it dries down, the neroli mixed with violet emerges, very refined. The downside is the longevity, which is a common issue with all Qissas—they don’t last long.

Very uncommon, I swear. It opens herbal due to the violet leaf and creamy from the ylang-ylang. On my skin, it becomes fruity coconut (not pastry-like) with a green touch. As it dries, the vanilla becomes more noticeable. I love that when I move around, it leaves a subtle floral coconut trail; with that violet leaf and fresh coconut, it feels unisex to me.
