  Absolutely amazing. Both Purple Heart and Red Heart are my favorites, but Purple Heart takes the crown. If I have to spend on a niche fragrance, it’s this one. My only drawback is that it doesn’t last long on my skin and the sillage is minimal—I can only smell it up close, and even my family can’t catch it. My husband has to lean in to smell it. But what can I do? The scent is fantastic, 100% natural, nothing synthetic. I love wild blackberries, and this fragrance reminds me of grabbing a handful of ripe blackberries, washing them, and taking a bite. That’s exactly the flavor you get when you smell it. The opening is very intense. I tried a small decant, and it was still quite alcoholic at first, so initially, it smells like blackberry or plum liqueur, those darker berries. Then it evolves, becoming softer and more subtle. My favorite part is the opening because that’s when it’s sweetest; it’s incredible. Afterward, there’s a pleasant base of licorice with blue flowers, probably violet, though blended so it’s not very noticeable. The sweet liqueur note lingers, reminding me of umeshu, that super-sweet Japanese plum liqueur. It’s like a bourbon-vanilla cologne, but in my nose, it smells exactly like umeshu. Delicious. I want seven bottles. And on top of that, the bottle is a work of art.
